The funniest thing that always gets me is that Max' lines are so clearly pre-recorded and he sings in this calm studio manner while doing his extra dance moves
Peter Pan Goes Wrong is one of my favourites of all times because this performance made me laugh so much that I couldn't control myself while trying to watch the show😄😆😂.
Poor Lucy gamely trying to dance despite nearly having broken her legs. Also, there's a track on the latest Peter Pan film soundtrack called "Faith and Trust and Pixie Dust." Not far off!
The "your taxi has arrived" part is the same but they changed some of the lyrics for the next joke. It gets changed to "I could be a steam engine driver, Or a carnival clown. You could be a prince fighting dragons, (Dennis) Shots fired. Suspect is down." Thats just going by the version I read, I'm guessing they just kept the joke of Dennis hearing different TV shows. At least I'm pretty sure that's what it was changed to, hope this helps :)
The "Cut to Camera 3" line is one of my absolute favourites. It's right up there with "My buttons are made out of biscuits."
it's the best. and he's legitimately a really good singer
MawSbb
My mother was dying of laughter when he said that line.
I always found ‚your taxi has arrived‘ to be even funnier.
@@SinnohGreen I lost it at the “Telitubbies” line! 😆
I love how they're singing this while waiting to hear back if Jonathan has died offstage, lmao
Well, the show must go on, after all
The funniest thing that always gets me is that Max' lines are so clearly pre-recorded and he sings in this calm studio manner while doing his extra dance moves
The “wham!”, “cut to camera three,” and “Teletubbies” Just kills me every time
Dennis stealing the show with one line. I can watch ‚your taxi has arrived‘ over and over.
not you dennis
"Your taxi has arrived" is the best line in this song
maybe meant to be "or maybe burgers and fries"
@@MineKurtMininerCould be, if they existed at the time.
But what about, cut to camera 3 and Teletubbies?
Imagining chris choreographing this is what keeps me going
Omg I didn't think about this
Why is no one talking about Robert’s excellent shadow dance. That was pure genius.
Peter Pan Goes Wrong is one of my favourites of all times because this performance made me laugh so much that I couldn't control myself while trying to watch the show😄😆😂.
IMO it's the best thing they've done
I totally agree! This was the best and the most funniest show I’ve ever seen 😂
As someone who has recently introduced my parents to this show I genuinely can't wait to watch this with them 😅
Most underrated musical number ever
This song was genuinley so amazing and funny! They need to do ‘The Musical that goes wrong’
It would be amazing if they teamed up with starkid and they were all in a musical together that goes wrong
@@missybarnes7400 yes yes yes
@@missybarnes7400 They're actually big fans of Starkid according to their social media.
@JavertRA wait seriously. I need to find this
"The role of Peter's Shadow with be played this evening by Nigel Thornberry"
I love how the song is dreamy and cute, but the dance and moves were pop, powerful and seductive even
post brexit: "i hear tonights meal is imaginary".
Too soon dude
Shan't go hungry so long as we have the shrivelled hearts of frog fishermen to feast on.
guess im gonna be singing this all day
I hate though how this song is no longer on the episode
Do you know why?
Was in shock when I realised this was cut from the version on bbc iplayer
I heard!! I wonder why they cut it?? By doing so, the reprise at the end makes no sense
I was watching it the other day and I was so confused.
🎵 he could be riding a sta-arr🎵
✨ IMPOSSIBLE! ✨
Of course!
Poor Lucy gamely trying to dance despite nearly having broken her legs. Also, there's a track on the latest Peter Pan film soundtrack called "Faith and Trust and Pixie Dust." Not far off!
I wish the songs from this show were on Spotify i would probably end up listen everu day 😅
I've watched this too much bc I can do the choreography alongside the actors
Does anyone know what headset jokes were made in the original stage performance? "Your taxi has arrived" still works, but "cut to camera 3" doesn't.

Robert, your choice of outfits this evening don't leave much to the imagination.
First: Lucy (Ellie Morris) is an absolute legend.
B: Dennis can't remember a single line, but the guy nails every dance move? Highly suspect....
Muscle memory?
@@JavertRA A likely story (more ellipses to follow).....
lost boys but the lost boys are sexy female dancers lol
And That's Rachelle Beinart!
Looks like it IS a pantomime!
NO, IT ISN'T! 😃
@@RobinHood3000 Yes, it is.
'This is not a pantomime. It is a traditional Christmas vignette.'

I wonder why this isnt in the iplayer version.
How convenient that all of Dennis’ lines still rhyme with the song.
That’s the power of imagination
I think this and other scenes were trimmed to get it to have a runtime of 1hr...the poison bottle scene was also cut
Poison bottle is still in it
So I've been wondering if I am just stupid or if the dance being weirdly sexual for it being danced by "kids" is part of the joke here?
It's definitely part of the joke. Sandra makes everything sexual.
And then there’s Roberts dance.
I watched this okay tonight I got their adographs
This song wasn’t in the bbc version, for some reason.
This isn't in the BBC iplayer performance if this anymore. Anyone know why?
They made cuts throughout, I think, to keep it down to an hour runtime...the scene with the poison bottle was also cut short too
@@user-tr2lu4gt5npoison bottle is still in it
I prefer the pirate song at the end
In the script book that song has like six verses. Mischief need to do an album

I thought this might be a parody of The Land Of Make Believe by Bucks Fizz
