    You do so many big things in Maya so easily... Great! Thanks for this one, also.

      thanks, stephen! tomorrow something more abstract: a utitlity node in the node editor. slightly mathematical, but still fun.

    as someone coming from Cinema 4D background, I didn't know maya had a texture deformer. this is amazing news for me :P

      @@Uhr24 can you render bifrost using GPU in Arnold ??
      Plz check it and tell me.
      If you can then there is some problem in my PC and if you can't then bifrost doesn't support GPU.
      I search lot but not found proper reason.

    Hi, first I'd like to say that I am just getting started with advanced Maya and your videos are extremely helpful, so thank you!
    I have a couple questions, how can you see an Arnold shader in Maya's viewport? (Mine all stay grey) and how are you rendering with Arnold without the "Arnold" watermark? (I thought Arnold was an extra license to buy)
    Thank you in advance
    EDIT: I might have figured out the first question, but I'm still wondering what the supposed method is.

      i render single frames without watermarks. batch rendering does insert watermarks.

    • @NofarStudio

      Thank you, I also found that 'sequence render' does not produce watermarks

    What is best for you to render Arnold or V-ray

    • @Uhr24
      @Uhr24  6 років тому +1

      Hi, I work with the student edition of Maya 2018, where Arnold is the built-in default renderer. V-ray costs extra, so it would not support my viewers, really. Best, Maximilian

    I just made a white donut. :(
    ps, my torus had no shadows nor proper look after render. I followed your instructions till 3:24. :(

      update: followed your tutorial nonetheless, but at 5:44, when I render the objects, it does not show the liquid. :(
      this is difficult lol.

    Good tutorial, but... not zoom in/out, please!!!

    • @Uhr24
      @Uhr24  5 років тому

      hi max, in terms of zooming in & out i usually get two comments. one is yours, the other one is: "could you please zoom in, so that i see menus/details on my smartphone screen." get my point?

    Your renders look dreadful, and you need smaller and more particles, resolution is too low, they look nothing like the liquids you introduce them as

      As you might know, Don, I'm not producing my tutorials for commercial output. So I need to keep the LIVE render times low. ["dreadful" is a pretty harsh word.]
