You stayed close to Sao Bento to train station. There are commuter trains every half an hour there from Campanha.
I saw that! We had large luggages so we took a Uber for convenience

Loved this video, I had no idea the major landmarks we're so close to one another. I wonder if there was a language barrier, I remember being in Lisbon about 2 years back and being thankful I spoke at least some choppy Portuguese because not everybody could understand English beyond a few basic phrases.
Thanks! I didn't run into any issues with language barrier, but then again all of the places I went to were pretty touristy!

Would u recommend renting a car or driving there in general (obv more as a road trip bc I would want to see way more cities...) or is it better to use the train overall?
If we had more time, we would’ve absolutely rented a car and drove!! I’m sure there are lots of beautiful cities on the way as well!
