- Scorched Earth Toys at anymoon.com and / anymoondotcom compares Bandai's latest "super deformed" VF-25 toy from their Tiny Session line against their SD Infinity toy that was sold during Macross Frontier's TV run. Alto's VF-25F Messiah has gotten the cute treatment twice! Is the newer toy better or a cheaper, simpler toy? Does the chibi idol figures (Sheryl in this case) included with the Tiny Session releases put them over the top? Watch this video to know all about both!

I'm really glad to see you doing these again. You're very comprehensive in a way I think not enough youtubers covering these toys are (at least in English). Since you asked, I'd love to see you go over the Joke Machine toy sometime and more vintage or "retro" reviews in general, maybe even revisit some of the ones you covered way back at the beginning of the channel since your quality has improved so much. Regardless, keep up the great work!
I love doing the old stuff since it's what inspired me to get into the new stuff. I need to track down a few more of the vintage jokemachines so I can cover them all.
Great review. I've always wanted a deformed, but couldn't justify since high metals weren't much more. That's no longer the case with their sky rocketing pricing.

I just picked up the Tiny Session today. I like it. Never was a fan of the VF-25F Messiah mech, but for $49 bucks? worth it.

I've bought into the line, but they would have been perfect if they had found a way to integrate the head into the transformation and had not made it a parts-forming piece. As is, it's a good display piece, but not a fun desk toy, which it should have been.

I like them both but still prefer and original Macross Joke Machines, their quality can't be matched. But that's mainly due to the simpler transformation.
The Tiny Session VF-31 have much better display stand attachment. The best part of these are the very well painted figurine.
If they make SD Infinity today it would be have at least twice the original MSRP.
i just bought the Tamashii Nations - Macross Delta - VF-31F Siegfried (Messer Ihlefeld use) with Kaname Buccaneer, Bandai Spirits Tiny Session for $19.90..did i do well?
I haven't handled the VF-31 versions yet but under US $20 seems like a great price to me.
