Some nice pickups there mate, I got in at 11am and had a nice haul from there as well before I headed to Forbidden Planet for a look round. Played California Games loads back in the day on the Master System. They really do need a bigger venue though

I’m totally agree with you.Massificate event,too hot and the prices has gone to the sky in some games.We want more private sellers with small tables,full of nice stuff!
I see why they have put this new ticketing structure in place to ease the footfall and staggering it, hopefully moving forward they will implement it better

Iv never heard of a wireless Dreamcast controller. It’s awesome that companies commit to bring these things out. It’s cool sitting on a CRT 2m away from the screen for a quick nostalgia blast but if your playing retro for long periods of time it’s nice to sit back and relax like you would with a modern console
Mate it's an awesome piece of kit that DC controller, I've been playing so much more Dreamcast, now I can relax and take from the sofa hahaha
That James Bond ZX box is awesome , I love seeing that

I love the guy and his dad selling just gameboy; not particularly competitively priced but usually pretty minty or uncommon.
Some great pick ups mate. Love the current love for the Atari even though i haven’t sufficient nostalgia to be drawn in. The box art alone looks wicked on the ones you grabbed from Darren.

Always great to hang out with you fella and although the queuing system was a nightmare still had a great day, you got some awesome pickups especially that mega drive game
Hopefully do it all again in a few months time

Great video! - I think It’s way too crowded at London game market, was the same last year. They need a bigger venue so it’s more like the US expo’s, more space between stalls and customers 👍

For me personally it was one of the best, tbh most the YT mob at London dont spend any money anyway so its no great shakes, but i met and chatted with loads of people as usual and it was probably my most enjoyable one to date, i bagged some lovely items (didnt go mad this time) the entry system has changed to try and filter the numbers mate, they did say this on the pages but perhaps folk didnt see, i think it worked well as the day flew by and we were busy right up to 4pm so it defo helped managing the crowds.
Anyway you need to be the otherside of the table next one, show em how the pricing is done and undercut Ebay ;)

I'm so pleased from a sellers view point the market was a massive success, and yeah I will definitely have to stall out with the retro realm next year

With Raiders do use the manual as you will need to use two controllers to play the game. Great lot of pick ups chap!

Fantastic Atari pickups, I'm buying cart only in the most part but the boxes are awesome, I agree Solar Fox is a great game and Moon Patrol is fantastic, Daz has some brilliant stuff

Mate I absolutely love those Atari2600 boxes, done of the artwork on them is amazing and Moon Patrol is a prime example.
I don't collect for the 2600 and even Atari800 I'm cart only due to having no nostalgia for it I can't justify the extra cost.
Stargate sound interesting, I can't even remember a Defender 2 so hoping you do a vid of that at some point.

Prices were inconsistent across the board and sellers were holding back on offers, not giving much leeway like at previous markets. Very overwhelming, disorienting and chaotic, couldn’t breathe or move after literally 20 - 30 minutes even before 12PM entry had to dip out for a while back across London and return later on towards the end and it was still busy!? Which was shocking!
Also “Hornswoggle” made an appearance! Though, just let the man do his thing and not bothered him at all. Surprised me, honestly and on St Paddy’s day as well!
I think the long term answer is for the organisers to find a more suitable location for the LGM as it's definitely out grown it's current location

Just too stubborn this time round, though had one cheeky person ask for a refund because they saw an item cheaper on another stall. 🙄 this is coming from someone personally that had made that mistake plenty of times and later regretted it, after someone having a word with me about it.
Wow is some sexy 2600 pick ups dude and definitely moon patrol and commando are amazing games, I didn’t spot Daz selling the commando at Black Country or would of had it as been trying to find it cib as I have it loose.

Glad you had fun Scott. I thought about going but since I was out all day previously I opted to chill at home.
I don't like the sound of their entry system. Not gonna lie but that's really put me off. With the high prices for pretty average to poor condition games I'm starting to wonder if it's worth going anymore. Of course the last few times I went was mostly for the meet ups, I just don't feel the buying is worth it anymore.
It was a good day, gutted I couldn’t make Scott’s meet up the day before but it was my brothers birthday so we were all celebrating that .
Yeah the new entry system definitely needs some tweaking the whole set up was a joke tbh

Sounds like you had a good time even though the x factor was missing, I'm hearing similar things from other people who attended, I think the London prices just put off the smaller sellers And selling different tickets for different times Is common practice these days for a lot of events So you'd think they would Handle it more efficiently Hopefully by next year they would have learned from their mistakes but probably not 😂😂😂

I've never gone to London because of those prices I've seen on peoples videos. Which is a shame as I'd love to catch up with some of the people that don't travel north.
Doncasters prices is similar, some one on the stall across from me had a gameboy game for £50 more than mine. And mine was mint.
You can link the ds and Wii batman games together. I had to pull myself away from Darren's amazing 2600 collection id have bouggt it all😂. You got Lots I need to upgrade my cart only.
The dreamcast pad is one of my most detested pads. So I'd love to get a striker, so I'll be interested to see what you think. You should do a hands on review on one of your blog videos.
I'm not a huge fan of under defeat but it's great to have.

Prices are always eBay and above at the markets which fully understand with the business that stall out just shame there weren't more smaller venders and private sellers as that's where you can get a deal

i went in at 11am and it was almost packed i think they are trying to lower the early entry ticket so it was so full back in November as we can't move cus it was jam packed and ending me with a bad headache. i was there from 11am till 2:30pm. ending with good japanese games to play on my PSP and PS VITA.
Yeah I definitely think they are trying to control how busy the event gets but it needs way more planning and organisation to get it to work, it will need some tweaks or better still they need a bigger venue

Yeah gleylancer is a game I’ve wanted to add to the Sega wall for a long time but it’s a pricey game for the Japanese Megadrive so I’m happy to make do with this rerelease
I loved ROTLA back in the day. A tough game from what I can remember, but that’s being said I didn’t do too bad at it since I was a kid when I played it.
Loving all the Atari love going around lately. It’s not something time looking to get into, but hey I can get my nostalgia fix through yourself and others who are picking up these games lol.
Talking of Sega I finally got around to reselling my DC at the weekend. I now need to get a wireless cxontroller for it. You’ll have to let us all know how it works.
I’d say Under Defeat is good but it’s no Zero Gunner 2. Not a bad game to be fair, but £60 ain’t too bad I’d say. I’ve got a sealed copy of the Japanese one on the 360. It’s the CE as well and comes with an extra disc which I think is a DVD, though I could be wrong.
Wow Gley Lancer, I wish I’d picked that up when it dropped. I’ve not made the same mistake with Eliminate Down.

Likewise I have a lot of memories with moon patrol on the 2600 I would spend hours with my mate playing that bitd.
I’m itching to play under defeat on the Dreamcast so I will checkout the new pad and hopefully do a video covering both
The Que system seems silly I get the idea to help with human traffic but the ques are too busy you don’t know when to do the Que, your get people hanging back at the front of the Que awaiting for there time to enter if you know what I mean
They definitely need to get more organised in how to run the queue and let people know what to do when they arrive, I'm sure when they iron these issues out it will hopefully work alot better
