Our loyal subscribers (hello!) will remember this LS-swapped Ford Falcon from Dave's Wiring Vlog. When the car left our garage there was still a fair bit of work left to be done and we promised we would revisit it once it was all complete. Well, the car is now all finished and, true to our word we've brought it back to show you what it looks like in all its glory. We also thought this would be a good opportunity to answer some of your questions posted on the Wiring Vlog series.
(pardon the dirty hands and fingernails, Dave was in the middle of another wiring job when we dragged him off to do this video)

Speaking of roofing screws and cars, I saw a good one the other day , it was an old Chevrolet RV with roofing screws fastening The Hanger bearing to the crossmember for the two piece driveshaft.

Well Dave... you can have it precisely one of two ways... You either come to the conclusion that we deserve more cool wiring content..... Or management is going to make that conclusion for you! :P
My personal hope: Complete body and engine harness for a nice restomod FD RX-7 (I might actually do high pitched fan girl screams if you show us that!)

Explain that wideband hack better from one of the earlier episodes. Curious if it is a matter of switching gounds from sensor ground to chassis ground and how that would affect can signal to other components such as a digital dash

Hi Dave, Is there a way to wire up a single coil and retain the use of a distributor on an Rb30 engine, in order to maintain a good spark in say a 400kw power range? The idea of keeping the single coil and distributor setup was simply to keep the engine bay looking more original.

Hi Daniel, I really do like recommending an LS1 coil to replace the factory ignition module and coil.
It is a fantastic upgrade ua-cam.com/video/iIDGQIQ8dRI/v-deo.html
You will need to run an additional output to control the Tacho wire though.

A guy at Jaycar told me to run a 0 gauge wire from my relocated battery to the front as the resistance of the body would be higher... I think it was a good idea...
