Long Short Story.
In the middle of the class I doodled a 'Its just a mask' storyboard
which I liked it and decided to my make my version. Ricepirate joined me and we both made a short movie jam in 1 day.
Of course, we got inspired by Bowz animation.

The Creeper Look, exists a diference beetwen Wereturtles and Mutant Turtles, these are Were-turtles.
I love the comics, in fact i don't like much the 80's cartoon,but, in all the adaptations the designs for the turtles are decent and respect the original design in many ways, that new turtles.... NOPE

I agree with Ricepiarte whole-heatedly, the turtles we saw in the trailer fell into the Uncanny Valley, where they're not quite human, but just human enough to be creepy, and not in a good way. A more realistic turtle-ish look would have been much more interesting, and fit more into the idea of mutating turtles into humanoid forms.

Richard Jaeger hey, it could always be much, much, much, MUCH worse. it could've been the Turtles Tunes designs... or Operation Blue Line.
trust me, these designs are just fine. Turtles Forever opened up the idea that there's multiple TMNT universes so I am okay with how they look with this one. plus, considering an actual turtle's nose is pretty much two holes on it's beak, a stretched out nose is fine.
But see thats the problem, they are mutated turtles, not turtles sliced with human dna, they must keep the turtle look

Oh I don't disagree that things could've been a lot worse. But they also could have been a lot better. Overly-human characteristics in CGI creations are freaky-deaky, especially on non-mammals.
Edit: It's the lips I think. It's more than that, really, but especially the lips.

I hated the 80's series. It was waaaaay too cheery for me. I like the 200's series. It was the closest to the original comics.

Mckenzie .Latham actually that is the truth, especially as both this and the last transformers were in production at the same time and originally both were planned to come out the same weekend and if you watch the film you can see A. Megan Fox isn't doing the typical bend over when it's completely unnecessary like transformers and B.there were very few explosion, and even the ones that did occur were very meh in comparison to Bay's normal 50 foot fireballs
