I don’t have one but many people have told me how much they like the electric egg cookers. I looked at one in Walmart and they are inexpensive and probably fool proof. I put eggs in water and bring to a full boil. Then I take it off the heat and cover for 13 min. The cover should have a good seal. Mine don’t so I cover with foil then put the lid on. You are steaming them so you don’t get that dark line on the yolk. MamaT is correct to say to peel in cold water. Start with the wider top. I learned from a restaurant caterer I worked with.

It is so cold in Ohio it's in the low 20s they closed a lot of schools all over Ohio area and we have a lot of snow and we have a winter warning advisory in effect

Being from Ohio when I was going to school when I was young we had to go in the snow and we had a lot of snow and it was cold we had to bundle up boots gloves have scarf coat are tights on and the snow is so high we had about five or more inches of snow sometimes it was near a foot and we still have to go to school it took something for Ohio school system to close are parents just use their better judgment and told you to stay home cuz it was too bad to go cuz I know Ohio schools they hated to close
You wrong lady. I want my eggs to be completely done. And three to five minutes the eggs are still kinda runny. Definitely not for me. So don’t say I don’t know how to cook. I know how I want my eggs to be and in my experience it takes at least 15 minutes.
