Foxes and badgers definitely not sworn enemies in our experience. They seem to have an understanding where they tolerate each other for the most part. They almost seem to hang around together. They seem to look out for each other, perhaps by accident...if something spooks the foxes, the badgers tend to go on alert too and vice versa. The badger is the dominant one most of the time, if they both want the same food, but we have never seen them fight in 8 years of watching. Pointless waste of energy we think - it is in both their interests to not risk injuring themselves.
Do the foxes and badgers be fighting in your backyard? Cause I heard that foxes and badgers are sworn enemies, to be honest.
