The Pajero is definitely the winner. It has style. It has comfort. If you want to turbo it, you have the room to do it. Plus, you can't beat the price. It would be a great every day ride. The only downside I noticed is that the back seats are a bit too far forward, kinda making the back seats useless. But... How often do you really need the back seats?

What size is the engine in the Jimny? Here we got it as the Samurai with the 1.3, but Japan had a 1.0 that was basically the same motor along with a few other unrelated motors IIRC. If'n it has the 5 speed, that's likely the same transmission.
@@Waybeforethefame I had a 92 Samurai as it happens, which was one of the weirdest things and the end of that truck. Yep, fuel injected, Mitsubishi IIRC, or at least the controller on the firewall behind the glove box was from them, that was to meet emissions. Another issue they faced was the shoulder belt requirement for rear seat passengers, solved by simply getting rid of the rear seat.
@@Waybeforethefame Well, this one is a hard top while the Samurai was exclusively a soft top at that point. Jeep solved the problem on the Wrangler by redesigning the roll bar to provide an upper mounting point, something I don't think Suzuki could do, because I'm fairly certain the roll bar was just for show. Speaking of non-US Samurai variants, I want one of the pickups.
7:05 - 7:10, Pajero Jr. badge is clearly visible, no Pajero Mini badging. 12:28 - 12:37, ZR-II badge is clearly visible (it's visible before that, but not as clearly or for as long), there was no Pajero Mini ZR-II, as near as I can tell (there was a VR-II, but not a ZR-II). Engine is 1100 CC on this one (probably actually 1,094 CC), which is consistent with the Pajero Jr. Pajero Mini has a 659cc engine (with turbo as an option). Pretty sure this is a Pajero Jr., not a Pajero Mini. But hey, you are welcome to go out there with a tape measure and figure out if this thing is 3,295 mm long, 1,395 mm wide, and 1,630 mm tall like a Pajero Mini or 3,500 mm X 1,545 mm X 1,660 mm like a Pajero Jr. and prove all of the badging on the vehicle wrong.
The Sierra really is just a right hand drive samurai that we got here.
yeah pretty much same motor basically, thats why i like the pajero more. The sierra doesn't even have a hood scoop
I agree The Pajero for sure.
Same the Sierra doesn't even have a hood scoop
The Pajero is NICE ! Get it !
I like it a lot ! It could probably do much better on the highway then the jimny
both are in great condition
Virginia Auto Mall for the win
The Pajero Mini is pretty awesome!
AGREEEDDD
Jimny has more legs room in the rear as to the pajero rear sets is push forward more

yeah i never have people in the back of my jimny, its just cool to have the option i guess
Hrm it was super clean. Cant wait for you to drive both of mine and see what you think :)
Deal!
I'd take the Pajero Jr easy.
I'd take the Pajero, more value for the price and can brand match with my wife's Mirage G4.
100%
Helpful thank you
Glad it helped
JR. for the win!!
I surprised i thought you would like the Suzuki more!

Sí, me gusta el jimny 98, pero ahora son oficialmente legales en Estados Unidos a partir de 2023. Voy a conseguir uno pronto.

The jimny sierra is a 1.3L engine. is probably the same motor as the sammy but i think the sammy is carb this one is fuel injected

The Jimny is better looking, the Pajero is more practical.
100%
I dunno if I have asked on this channel or not...How much is valve clearance for intake and exhaust on 660cc Turbo mini pajero?
Hey I’m not sure the one in this video is a junior tho not a mini. I haven’t owned a pajero yet just 2 jimnys but it’s coming soon
How does the Pajero Jr compare in size to say a Kia Soul?
Definitely smaller not as wide for one and the interior on the kia soul is much bigger
Is the sambar faster than the hijet
supercharged yeah, regular sambars are just as fast as the s110 hijets
Suzuki looks better, more back seat leg room than the Mitsu for the price I’ll take Mitsubishi
Yeah the Mitsu is 100% a better daily besides the seats but again who's really sitting back there anyways
SUZUKI
JIMNY is more Powerful and Extreme level OFF ROAD ORIGINAL JEEP than lady pejer0.
if you seriously want a Pajero Jr, i have one for 7000.00
alabama title
once i sell my jimny, that could be very possible but i like to buy beatup cars so i can work on them and make videos
Interested
that's a pajero mini.. pajero jr is slighly bigger.
lol
