What a gem of a course this is, absolutely fantastic. My pals & I loved the place from the warm welcome we received to the quirkiness of the course and the breathtaking views. If you are in the area this is a must.
Another fantastic series Andy! I think you have found your true calling and are makung the most of your teams talent! Would love to see you play with the local pros at some of these venues, and maybe make the vieos a wee bit longer.
Brilliant, I was born in Dufftown and left before I found golf, however, returning to visit my Grandparents every so often, I've played both the 9 hole original and the newer 18 hole layout, that 10th tee shot is so inviting, fantastic video, and a pleasure to see the town and golf course where I grew up as a child ☺️ PS: your wife is right about the hat 😉
Great looking golf course, the seaside is nice but this scenery is fantastic. The "Cap" is perfect for this setting. What makes your videos so great while we are watching, is the music you choose, really adds charm to your presentation.
An engaging host. A sumptuous backdrop skillfully captured. A telling story. Highlights of the local! This entire series was an absolute delight. From Land locked Australia you've shown me a kindness I cannot thank you enough for. Enjoy the slowdown of winter. PS Do yourselves a favour and contact the Scottish tourism board for sponsorship. This is what it's all about. PPS - I've discover my wife is always right. The cap should stay, it's dignified.
Played the course yesterday in similar weather to you Andy - Fantastic. It was our first time playing in the Uk (we are Brits who learned in Houston) and it felt very authentic because we hired old clubs (just £10 a set) which was challenging but fun. Not an easy course so bring a few balls (the rough is very unforgiving!). Great experience!
Loved this series and the professional way it’s put together. Would be great to see you do more if these series for different parts of the UK and Ireland.
Great camerawork and editing. Cheers! And the cap looks great! I've got 3 myself and they're not too popular here in the States. Thank you for the wonderful content.
Andy this series has me considering a move to Scotland! I love how the game is part of the culture. We visited Scotland a couple years ago and came across our first honor box. We don't have those in the US! Thanks for sharing! Keep the cap!
Come on Andy you should know never argue with the missus - looks like the caps staying 🤣🤣. Quality series, loved every minute 👏. Absolutely stunning location
I admit I love a really good short par 3 (under 120 yards) and that one at Dufftown looked really special. Just shows you do not need length to make a very good and very interesting hole. And the hat should stay!
Brilliant video, thanks. I’ve only been back into golf this last four or five months after a 25 year gap, so only found your vids recently. This has been my favourite so far; beautiful looking course, well filmed and edited; nice conversation with the volunteer…nice man. And insight into the cooperage. Oh, and the hat suits you 👍 where was it you got it?
Thank you for the series and a look at the different courses Scotland has to offer. I'll probably never get across the pond to play so it's nice to travel around with you. PS - the hat fits you. 👍
Very nicely in the landscape integrated golf course! You won't believe it, but where I am coming from (Austria) there are some places (and course) that look very similar. By the way: The hat is fabulous, I am fond of wearing a hat, also when golfing (and it's no question of age, but of taste. I am 37 🙂.).
You have to keep the cap, looks great on you! Loved the video, looks an absolute gem of a course. Going to that area next summer for holiday, might skip the distillery tour and play yhe course instead!
Hello Andy. Saw you in the cap in a previous video and thought it suited you. I think this series has been great - started looking forward to the new one each Sunday. Thanks.
First thought I had right at the start of this video was "where did he get that cap"?" Looks just right for where you're playing. Good job you have strong ears to support the cap.
Surprised you didn't ask the guy why he had a Charlton top on. Aberdeen is a long way from South London 😂. Love the vlogs Andy where are you off to next? 👍
Over several years, I spent many weekends and holidays travelling south to tick off the 92 Football League grounds and saw a.match at each one. As well as putting many thousands of miles on my car, I now have a varied collection of caps, t-shirts, etc from grounds all over England and Wales.
@@davidpurser6728 that's fantastic and well done. I have been a Charlton fan since 1970, no wonder I've got little hair left. Enjoy the golf on what looks a great course. Before Covid we played Fort Augustus GC while visiting friends. Best scenery I have witnessed.
Absolutely beautiful course i was there 3 weeks ago and there was only myself on the course , the 7th and 10 are magnificent wot a place and as you say a hidden gem. i am from Dover but well worth the trip.
Great video on a bonny day. Unfortunately John the Greenkeeper has moved on to another course nearer his home so its all down to the volunteers at the moment.
I live in Canada now. My grandparents are from Ireland by the way of Scotland. I love it, but can't drink Whiskey. I get cantankerous and unruly. What's wrong with me? lol EDIT: Love the hat. I have the exact same one. Ordered it from England.
The first thing I thought when I saw you was nice cap,. Looks traditional, so there's my answer. Your wife has good taste. By the way Andy, what's the most popular brand of whiskey as you travel?
Glad you had some fair weather for this series it's been rather stunning very much liked the look of this duff golf course looked very narrow in places . Brilliant series
Cap looks great Andy. That golf course is amazing. The views are spectacular and what a great price. The camera work and video are top notch as always. Excellent.
Love the cap mate! Loved the series! watching all the way from South Australia!

Once again top drawer video - almost cinematic 👌. Great series.

Brilliant series again. Said it before but the stuff you put out visually is right up there ! 👍
Beautiful golf course! If I ever make it to Scotland I’d love to play it. Shout out to the greens keepers and volunteers.
Wow, great video Andy. I have to put that course on my bucket list.

Yes super little golf hole with no room for error

Great looking course and the cap is much better than a baseball cap.
Maybe the cap stays!

Where did you get the cap from, love it,
@@paulbassett886 A place called Johnstons in Elgin

How many times did you change your hats?😁.

You are playing golf not baseball, so the cap is stylish and you look good with it . I play also with a cap or hat and never ever with a baseball cap
I live in Canada now. My grandparents are from Ireland by the way of Scotland. I love it, but can't drink Whiskey. I get cantankerous and unruly. What's wrong with me? lol
EDIT: Love the hat. I have the exact same one. Ordered it from England.
Irish and Scottish roots......you have to like whisky!
The first thing I thought when I saw you was nice cap,. Looks traditional, so there's my answer. Your wife has good taste. By the way Andy, what's the most popular brand of whiskey as you travel?
Thanks Randy, my favourite would be Glenfarclas, Aberlour or Tamdu

Worth playing just for the views.
Really are beautiful
Cap looks great Andy. That golf course is amazing. The views are spectacular and what a great price. The camera work and video are top notch as always. Excellent.
Thanks as ever Keith
About the cap, a little baggier and you could be a peaky blinder
Razor blade in the peak!
Now that's a proper hat to play golf in Andy! Great series. I will be raising a not so small glass of Bunnahabhain to you this evening.
Sounds good to me David, Slainte!
Great videos really enjoyed them 👍
