    Your video is probably the most detailed review I can find on youtube and it helps a lot when I make the purchase. Thanks!

    Best review of the watch I've seen so far (and I've gone through a LOT of them). I've got the Ice Breaker model on order and it'll arrive in early January. Can't wait :)

    Of the many Coros Vertix reviews I’ve seen, this was one of the most helpful, informative and well produced! Thanks for the comprehensive review, I’ve placed my order and I hope it’ll fit around my wrist :P Looking forward to exploring all its features.

      Thanks, I try to make the review I would want to watch so it’s good to know I’m not the only one. Should fit fine, I have small wrists and it fit me.

    No doubt. Best battery life you can get! And with every next update they are closer to garmin / last time with waypoint navigation. I remember times when there was no option to structured workouts like setting up intervals and now? they are actually far behind garmin with workouts. Great.

      For sure battery life kings as far as I've tested.

    I only run and do calisthenics. Atm I have a Garmin Enduro, but in really thinking of switching to the Vertix, since atm you can't seem to get an Apex Pro anywhere.
    Seeing i like the 28 days battery life of the Enduro, but the limit of not being able to make workout rutines with Garmin is annoying. So im pretty sure i'll be going for a Vertix in the near future, probably the "Space Traveler" seeing im a big fan of the velcro band from the Enduro

    Superb, superb video. Excellent pacing and transitions. How did you do the screen scrolling with the study state background?

    • @chrisguess
      @chrisguess  3 роки тому

      Thanks. Are you referring to how I made the transitions?

      @@chrisguess no specifically you had your desk as a backdrop but the iPhone screen was scrolling while you talked. That was a super cool effect

      Ah yes I see, I screen record the phone to get the video part and I took a still of the phone and background. Then in final cut I drew an inverted mask on the still and put the screen recording behind it. Takes a bit of resizing and fiddling around but once you have the masked still you can make it as long or short as you need it.
      Something I should do a tutorial on do you think? 🤔

    Have you tested it with cycling? For me a sport is running, and cycling is a recreation, which means slower tempo and longer activities. I'm slowly running towards the battery limit of my Garmin Fenix.

      I haven’t, I’m not a cyclist I’m afraid.

    isn't there a lot of "fake" pauses, when sports mod is on?
    Wouldn't it be better to place it instead of the light button?

    • @VanceRefrigeration
      @VanceRefrigeration 3 роки тому +1

      This is not true, as you need to unlock the watch first by holding in/scrolling the dial to unlock, and then pressing pause.
