#replay Watching on Sunday. Sue from Oxfordshire....retired. Keen gardener. Developed a cutting garden two years ago. Keen flower arranger especially using my own flowers. Also managed to dry flowers quite successfully last year and discovering how to use them within fresh arrangements. Weather was really wet overnight, stopped mid morning and now sunshine since about 3. Really enjoyed the three arrangements especially the parallel. Thank you for sharing your knowledge 😀💐💐💐
Thanks again, I also love your description of yourself
#replay.. love the romantic vibe of the ‘Georgian’ arrangements.. and the simplicity of the parallel (have to say springtime colour mix of blues and yellows are my favourite) also I admire your honesty and ethics regarding weddings.
Awesome! Thank you! I also love blue and yellow
Great idea. I would like to also put this in my bay view window, kitchen window or my kitchen counter to.
Hi Sharon, watched the replay from HK. Thanks again for this wonderful video. 🥰🥰💚💚

Thank you Joe!
Will join the class's soon as I declutter me to do list! Hopefully before year end because I'm really impress even with your impeccable floral language.
Exactly! Wasn't even interested in flowers then! But was told if I'm ever setting table with dinner wares, not to block view with huge designs in center of tablescape.
Thanks again
Well said Sharon, I agree most is for show not for the love of flowers x
Hopefully I haven't upset any one?
Watching on replay

Correct arrangements termed, for a personal flare! Yes
Would like to add some spillers into this! My take as you know I'm a newbee
yeaaaa you did add them!
Hi I completed the NAFAS flower arranging course and NVQ Floristry course, 25 years ago. I have always dabbled in flowers but never made any money. 😂 So I guess it was an Expensive hobby. I have always had other jobs but always come back to flowers. I enjoy listening to your commentary reminding myself of the the rules, and identifying the flower and foliage before you say the name.
Wonderful! That's a lot of qualifications, well done you. What an achievement.
Correction everyone is good in attention to detail but! Sharon, you teach with skill and experience and also recommend additional alternatives.
Thanks great way to spend Sunday morning 😁 Tasmania
Glad you enjoyed it, is it very early with you?
@@sharondower yes but it getting cold here in the mornings , Autumn dew.
This is a design used for an event/function
Hi, I think people want to learn from experts in their field. So they may search for flower arrangements but they want to learn from a florist.
Love the contemporary styles, by the way.
Thats a good point, thank you
Very nice, thank you
Thank you too!
Oh no we don't here in The Bahamas! The 1st one gets to their table the center piece belongs to them! If it's an arrangement of flowers! 😂😂 Or sometimes they're given for a gift of appreciation by Bride.
Perhaps I shall introduce this custom in the UK, first to sit down, takes the flowers home
Even if they come in part-time just for a function!
To help with transporting the heavy items and the back and forth that is!
I'm a youtber Sharon don't fancy to many other social media platforms..
Airy design xx
Many many thanks, thats a brilliant description
Just watched the reply. Loved all of the designs. Just wondering if" Forget -Me Knots" would work instead of the Bluebells - would they last if conditioned well?
Forgot me knots are amazing, last for ages
@@sharondower Thank you x
Ok! So, you're twisting rose stem in your palm. Obviously, the thorns are removed. Do you trim them with a knife or is there a tool to do that with?
I use a knife or the scissors, I don't like the rose strippers as they are too harsh on the flower stems
But you can use assistance or additional help that's how people learn to, who are interested in this craft, especially young people!
Youngsters in the Uk aren't interested in doing manual work!! I do have help, lots of freelances staff too
Hi Sharon, how would you condition the foraged flowers xx
The same way as other flowers, clean cut on the stem and straight into water for a good 12 hours before arranging them
I would call this art! Floristry or Floral arts.
Hi sharon❤
Watching from Canada ❤
Hello Canada, thanks for watching
