Splash Hill Zone is a remake of Green Hill Zone.
Casino Night Zone is a remake of that casino zone from Sonic 2.
Lost Labyrinth Zone is a remake of Labyrinth Zone. (Oh for the god's sake!)
Mad Gear Zone is a remake of Metropolis Zone.
E.G.G Station Zone is a remake of Death Egg Zone. (Oh for the god's sake, again!)

Yes that game was trash i already defeated that sonic 4 episode 1 and 2 and after i played it i recognized lost labyrinth zone was like labyrinth zone in sonic 1(labyrinth zone is the hated zone in sonic 1) after it i recognized splash Hill zone was like green hill zone, mad gear zone was like metropolis, etc

I like how they used old boss designs with new twists. You think you know what you're up against, but it changes on you. .. the level designs just seem to be uninspired rip offs.

All the bosses in this game are easy because of the homing attack
The only hardest are the Death Egg Robot in the second mode
No the Labyrinth zone boss in the E.G.G. Station is difficult.
Also the Mad Gear one in the Egg Station

The physics are the same, the music is very similar, the controls are the same + Tails, the speed is the same, the artstyle is the same, it's from the same generation of consoles as ep I so while the graphics are better, they aren't that much, Ep 1 was aviable for the Wii too etc.
