You and Winnie are amazing! As a child it is so refreshing to watch someone who doesn’t just show the good things, you show the learning process of the horse! It’s so hard to find these kind of UA-camrs so when I find them I stick and keep watching ❤ It really is so great that you show everything ❤ it is very inspiring 😊❤
Always so glad when I see Amber posted a video 😊
You guys make my day 🥹
Hey, i was so happy to see that you jumped Winnie in the end! 😊 One word of caution, be careful with Brumby eating hoof clippings. One of our dogs had to go to the vet after getting sharp pieces of hoof caught in his stomach 😢
Oh no! I’ll definitely keep an eye on him, I hope your pup is okay now!
@@amber_matthews yes, he's fine now. We now pick up all the clippings as soon as the farrier leaves
Why is Winnie so cuteeeeeee!!!
He’s just the cutest land whale
Land whale 🤣🤣
honestly I think the idea of instead of a treat as a reward every single time your horse does something well during a ride, just a release of pressure is an amazing idea. giving them a release which is super beneficial and rewarding rather than something that’s just gonna be a sweet treat is definitely more important, especially with a horse who’s hard to keep on and wants to be lazy. I think specifically with Winnie aswell that’s a lot more beneficial, you guys looked amazing today despite the few wobbles! :D
This is what I love about your videos Amber❤ the way at the end of the ride you recognize what you want to improve based on ur horse and how he responded to you and his problems rather than just saying “he needs to respond better” or “he needs to be more forward”
You’re so amazing! It makes my day when you post❤
I love getting to make content for you guys so I love that you love it ❤️
Very good to see you back working on the foundations
Love long form videos!
I’ve dyed my Greys main and tail black! He looks amazing
I’m so tempted to do it!
@@amber_matthews it takes forever to do initially but so worth it
Winnie is SO CUTE AND ADORABLE
He's soooooo cute ❤❤❤❤❤
I think maybe you could dye Winnie's mane a dark grey colour, I think that would really suit him☺☺
Love your vids btw😘
This could be the move
@@amber_matthews Glad you are happy to consider it! I think it would look great on him☺
It would suit him sooo much
Im a grey horse owner aswell I dont trust The Weather either!😂 Even if I would only turn him out for two minutes he would Come back as a bay😂❤
How do you clean him? I swear my grey is never actually clean like he gets stained 😅
What part of Melbourne do you live in ? I am in nar nar goon /pakenham ❤yes, you did much better, then the worst jump school.
OKAY I think Winnie’s mane would look good black BUTTTTTT you can use ketchup to clean the tail(I know it sounds gross lol I’m pretty sure to put in the tail and wash it out)
Also how do you count your strides I can never get them right
Can't wait to watch!
Let me know your thoughts at the end!
Loved it as always!! 🤪
I love the way you train your horses, and i completely agree with pressure and release. Also brumby is such a cutie ❤
Amber I’m so lonely please say hi to me 😭
Hi!
@@amber_matthews OMG HIII!
@@amber_matthews My loneliness has been cured bestie 😊
PLEASE! DONT dye his mane black! I think a dark grey or light grey would be good though!
Also, I’m riding an eventing horse for the first time tomorrow, do you have any tips? I have jumped before but not in over 2 years and I have never done dressage.
Have fun and trust whoever is coaching you! They will know best and keep you safe!
@@amber_matthews thank you! Also love your vids ❤
I wish you would give with your hands more over the jumps. Otherwise, love your videos❤
For a horse that doesn’t know how to create a shape and engage his core/back over a jump, that naturally falls onto the forehand, why would I offer him no support over a fence for aesthetic reasons? Which wouldn’t actually be aesthetic at all because he’d be hollow, flat and probably fall over after the fence
I love the vid! Do you have any tips on jumping or riding in general? xx
Find a good coach you admire and want to be like in all aspects of horsemanship, not just the coach who wins the most ribbons ❤️
@@amber_matthews Thank you for the tip, you're one of the best riders I have seen keep up the good work xx
How big is winnie?!!!
Please dye the tail! I want to see if it works and looks good!
