Brienz ist ein Dorf am nordöstlichen Ufer des Brienzersees im Berner Oberland, einer Region in der Schweiz. Die im 18. Jahrhundert erbauten Holzchalets und die Skulpturen überall im Dorf verweisen auf die Tradition der Holzbildhauerei.
