hey olivia! Fishy is a betta, looks like either a spade or veiltail. In those types of containers he might not live too long, due to lack of heat from a heater which cold water can cause him to get sick and the water can grow bacteria. they're oxygen breathers but they still need a filter, if you can get a tank at a minimum of 3 gallons and add a heater and filter. He'd be moving so much more.

i really love your videos. heres some must haves for a fish or it might not end well : the fish need to be in a 3 gallon or bigger tank with a filter ( i did a tank without one and the fish died), the bloodworms are just for treats so get him betta fish food and feed him the blood worms once or twice a week. have an amazing day. i have had fish for years and these steps have help keep them happy. these are just helpful suggestions but do what you want. you also need to get water conditioner for the water you add it in every time you change the water which is every 2 to 3 weeks. and dont clean anything in the tank with soap only water or it will kill the fish. have a good day love ya. they also only eat twice a day.

Love your videos :) , advice if you want it - You should buy tap water conditioner and a small heater for your new fish ( helps keep the water at a consistent temp )

Also u should probably try to get a new tank for ur fish with a nice filter and some filter thingys so it’ll keep the water nice but change the water out every now and then and make sure the filter doesn’t get dirty dirty and some food but make sure u get the right one and not some random one

So I believe you have a Beta fish and you can feed it every day or every couple days, they can honestly survive a long time without food, but feeding it once a day is good.

also I feed my fish 2-4 pellets twice a day and only use filtered water but I think the water only is important for betas. I just want fishy to live 😗✌🏻
