TIVOLI, ITALY - VILLA D'ESTE GARDENS TOUR! The BEST day trip from Rome!

Today we take the local train out to Tivoli, about an hour away from downtown Rome. We take a detailed tour through the Villa D'Este gardens, explaining each major fountain and water feature. This is one of our favorite day trips from Rome that is accessible by train!

Looks amazing! We're headed to rome this may for the second time after 25 years.
Be in Rome three full days and are trying to decide on doing this partial day trip or not. think it's worth it for Villa D Este and lunch. Not sure if the other Villa is worth the full day, or what you thought of Hadrians villa. Thanks, looks fun!

I went there this month and for people not use to walking around it’s quite a bit of walking from the station to the villa and walking all the way down to those fountains is tiring lol
