Great video! Thank you! Certainly struck a cord with me. When I fell in love with Granada in the south of Spain and started wondering how I could move and actually live there I remembered my old childhood dream of having my own sewing studio. And it was the idea of not wanting to look back later and regret not having tried it that made me take the plunge. I'd been sewing as a hobby for as long as I can remember but I had no idea how to make those beautiful flamenco dance costumes I had set my eyes on, and I had no idea about running a business. "I'll just give this a go until I hit some kind of show stopper" was my business plan. That was in 2004. The show stopper never came but there were quite a few lessons I apparently needed to learn the hard way :-) It's been an incredible journey with lots of moments of immense satisfaction but also challenges no uni or job in the corporate world can ever prepare you for. To sum up - tough but sooo worth it. So I can only agree with Victoria and Jim

Thank you so much for making this video it was very inspirational for me as well as spiritual. I've found myself stuck when opportunity knocked and I never leaped, thinking I was good enough, having a fear of failure as well as always doubted myself in my sewing gift. I do believe in a higher power and knows He lives within me every single day, cause He is constantly pushing me towards taking some classes at the Fashion School of Technology. So knowing what I know I've decided to take that leap of FAITH knowing that GOD will be there with me every step of the way. Thank you again for this video and I will use the gifts and talents that GOD has truly blessed me with to attend the school of my dreams to enhance my skill to the fullest. Wow it's like y'all were sitting at the edge of my bed talking to me with a blow horn. I've been in a slump for a while, I do multiple crafts, I even work at a craft store. I got tired of ppl saying my work is beautiful but not wanting to buy so I stopped caring unless it was something just for me. But then opportunities would arise unexpected & I wasn't prepared with any product. Tears in my eyes because God has been speaking to me to prepare & get ready then I see this video & know it's the Holy Spirit confirming his word to me. Thank you for the motivation God Bless

Thank you so much for this video. I wish I had enough time to tell you my story but it is exactly what you guys are saying in this video. I finally found a class and I will be co-teaching two classes at a camp for two weeks this summer. I am unemployed! God is so good and I will definitely embrace these opportunities and make every attempt to hone in on my sewing skills and make clothes for ME! This was so encouraging!!

Thank you both so much for this video. This message was definitely for me. I know that I have been hesitant to use my sewing for anyone other than myself. I have had a few opportunities that I passed up. I am encouraged to go for it. Again, thank you. This was much needed.

Love this series more than words can say! Between the coincidence that my late Father's nick-name was also "Gentleman Jim," and the timing being so perfect for me, I feel this to be somewhat of a 'divine intervention.' You both take the 'fear' out of it, are so inspirational, and are perfect together! Thank you so much for that! I was wondering if you,Victoria would share the pattern of the shirt you are wearing, if there is one. I love it.

Thank you! May I ask how you store your supplies, please? I am a seamstress living in a tiny, tiny house and really have a problem with storage. I have tons of zippers, buttons, interfacing, fabric, scraps (oh this one is huge problem), tools, pressing tools and boards/ham, threads, 5 machines (including a coverstitch), waddings, 4 mannequins....etc. Please, would really appreciate if you could make a video about storage. Thanks in advance! :)
