I don't know where it happened but maybe it was a language translation problem? I know that this happens some times between english and german, where in german "Klosett", which is spoken very similar to "closet", means "toilet". When I heard the english word "closet" the very first time I also thought it means "bathroom" or "toilet".
Actually klosett means toilet 🚽 in Norwegian too.. But it ws used more back in the day. We dont say it that much anymore. But i here it once in a while.
