The girl actually had and still has vocal talent but jive records had her sing that nasal baby voice we all come to like in her catchy pop songs. But she really can sing, wish she would just do more ballads, the chick can really blow

I don’t know why people complain about her singing style! She became famous with her nasal voice and people loved her that way. With her original voice she would be just one more. Her voice is good, but we already have Mariah, Whitney, Christina and many more. Britney’s nasal voice is unique.

Jive may also be a problem for her. Jive have the last say when it comes to what they want. Her contract with Jive ends after this last album so she can either renegotiate how "she" wants things done or she can leave and find a different label. Then she can come out and tell everyone she has two registers. Or simply incorporate her lower register in her music more. It would be awesome to see her use her natural voice b/c then she wouldn't have to lip as much.

I know right, I fucking hate Jive for ruining an amazing vocalist like that!!! I'm glad she is no longer with them. Maybe she will try to go back to this. I think with a few months of intense vocal training she could.
