I love that this is a drugstore brand that comes with a glass bottle AND a pump. Like well done Milani, but what the heck is wrong with all of the other brands out there? Eesh. (So glad Revlon finally added a pump to theirs!)
Oh wow, such a good colour match I think? I see some radiance in your skin after application - that looks nice, but I'm wondering how it'll hold up on your skin throughout the day... and there we go. You're oily, but like you're saying, this is still intact and even though you're SUPER luminous now, it's not like you're a greaspit. Me likey! I know this did oxidize on Julie's face, but I do really love it on you and it didn't seem to do that on you.
Seems like deeper more yellow skintones have much better luck than anyone on the paler side - I am so glad it didn't oxidize because I love the coverage for when I want something full on
I love that you don't use primer or setting spray so we can see if the foundation holds up on its own. 👍🏽

I recently bought this foundation and I love it! I am actually in love with the scent. I'm not sure why but it has a nice smell; I still can't point out what it reminds me of!! And I also have oily skin and know that this foundation is not matte so I'm still finding ways to wear it (with primer, without, etc). So far I know for me it wears longer during chilly days because it's not so warm outside. But in general whenever it's warm out I struggle with makeup! It was warm the other day and I was worried how my makeup holds up (It did, thankfully). I just know with any kind of foundation, I'll have to blot and powder throughout the day.
Yah when it gets hot you are working against your oily skin and the heat, it can be messy haha - blot blot blot!
It is a good match for your skin. I'm so not into foundations, your series will help to give me a kick to try new ones. Sometimes all you need is a bit of inspiration.
I am suuuuch a foundation junkie ... well makeup junkie... but I love testing foundations hahah

I love this foundation! I have dry skin and it looks great on my skin and I like applying it with a beauty sponge as well. A great option for me on a night out or a special occasion

I loved this review! I live in Arizona so even though my face is not super oily on its own, the 90+ temperature makes ANY foundation I try look oily, I also use the shade 07 and this foundation is by far the best match to my skin tone because other foundations seem to be way too orange. The main issue I came across was the fact that all of my pores, under eye wrinkles and my smile lines were very visible, it also seemed that around my nose and mouth area the foundation came off and it did not look good at all in person although it looked great in photos, i also love the coverage because i don’t have to color correct as much as with other foundations due to hyperpigmentation:)

Yes! I loved this foundation. I have combination skin (I think!), not enough to break makeup apart, but I do sweat so much my makeup tends to fade away! I recently used this (in 07 too) to an event that started at 8 am and wore it all day long without blotting or anything. I got home at 7 pm after sweating a couple pounds off and have to say I was so impressed because I still had a decent face of makeup!! It held up beautifully! But I agree I wouldn't wear it every day, I have Maybelline Fit Me (310 sand beige) for that!

I love this stuff! I mix Milani's light tan with golden tan. I think I will try the sand with the light tan. I was a Dermablend gal for years. Just can't afford it any more. Great presentation!

I love this foundation! I HATE that perfume scent but I deal with it. I wish Milani would just stick with that vanilla/cake scent they have in their matte bullets. This foundation and their regular lipsticks smell awful to me. I never reach for my satin lipsticks because of the smell. This foundation though it's so good that I'll put up with it.
I try to rotate my foundations often but for the past week I've been wearing it nonstop as I tried a new primer that broke me out. It hides the breakouts super well. I love how full coverage it is. I think that shade match is perfect for you too! When I bought it in the summer I was between 3 & 4, now that it's winter 3 is working really well for me. It didn't oxidize on me either and it ends up looking dewy on me which I was surprised but found I really liked. I thought I hated dewy foundations haha
I like that they're catering to darker skin tones, in a world where many companies cater to lighter skin tones and have like one tan shade, it's refreshing to see a company actually acknowledging the existence of people with darker skin tones.
I've also been wondering for a while if this was just a limited release because it's new, and they'll come out with more shades... kinda hard when they started the names with 1, though.
I agree! Glad that they are catering darker but at the same time their lighter foundations shouldn't be crap haha - hopefully they will extend the range because I've heard that it doesn't go thaaat dark either!

Thx for doing this video I recently bought this foundation and though it's a good foundation I don't find my self reaching for it often. I find that it emphasizes any dry patches or uneven skin and that annoys me. but for the price it's still a really good full coverage foundation.

Yah it really gives great coverage! Might need to reach for a primer or exfoliation prior to use to ensure it doesn't get weird on you
07 is not a good shade match for NC 42 with a yellow undertone. The foundation has a very pink undertone which does not work for me.

I purchased this foundation but it didn't have a pump so I returned it bcuz it was too messy. I did like the finish so I might give it another shot since it worked out for you Samantha Jane. Maybe it has a pump now.

I wanted so bad to love this foundation. But you were completely correct about the color selection. The lightest shade was too dark and it oxidized horrible for me. Through out the day it settled into lines and creases. Even with primer. Just wasn't for me

So iam a nc42 in Mac and i had to pic up a 07 in the milani foundation. But i took a 08 by mistake. The 08 has a pink undertone and it was verry light for me. But iam happy i picked up the 08 cuz its oxidized like crazy and during the day the foundation became orange so it matched me perfectly. So iam happy that i had one benefit by picking up the shade 08. Let me know what you guys expieranced with this foundation did it oxidized ?
Which 08 did u pick up on the site say 08A1 rich sand and 08A warm sand
They have just came out with lighter shades for the fair! They I think have added a couple of darker shades also!

hahaha! happy to guinea, I really liked how this held up - perhaps could have used a little blotting and set with a mattifying powder.. that is what I would do with just about any foundation on any day but for these reviews I like to put it to the test without blotting etc

I am quite pale, and I bought the lightest shade, and it's still too dark (and oxidizes darker). Bummed... 02 is the lightest, FYI. The 01 is darker.

i have extremely combo skin, a super oily t zone, oily skin like yours but around my nose and sides of my cheeks im super dry, like dry flakes. so hard to find a foundation that is matte enough to stop my oily t zone but not look flaky on my cheeks. would you recommend this or know of any foundations for this? :)

I am very fair and the lightest shade vanilla is way too dark for me! I need to try to use it as a mixer with the pro glow so it doesn't change the finish... I have mixed in KVD lock it tattoo foundation to make it more of a demi matte finish. I wear Maybelline m&p in 110.

i tried the milani foundation in the shade creamy vanilla and it was SO YELLOW on my fair skin. I did like the feel of the foundation though.

It is always a bummer.. lol.. but hey life moves on. I wish that every company would at least make a white shade and other darker mixing shades to lighten it up or darken it up. 🤔☺

I've seen Tati rave about this foundation but I think I'll have to give this one a pass because of my dry skin. Tons of foundations lately seem to be highlighting texture instead of covering it.
I think the Maybelline Smooth and Dewy is great for dry skin if you are looking for something with good coverage!

I think the fragrance or smell is the prune extract because it does smell slightly sour imo.

I picked a color that was too dark for me...thats my fault. Nevertheless, it's not my favorite. I think i would need a good primer to keep it from settling into my pores. Also it seems too heavy. Like you, i liked it best w beauty blender and i prefer something lighter. I like iT cc much better.
Liz Martinez yeah I definitely have to use a pore minimizing primer so it doesn't emphasize my pores! I've gotten in the habit of this every day anyway but the one day I forgot... wow it was bad
Yah if you are looking for something light this isn't it, but light layers and a beauty blender can help avoid any cake face :)

I love this foundation , but even if i apply it with primer and setting spray, it goes off at rubbing / touching my skin, or if i sneeze and wipe my nose, i look like a clown: nice cheeks and horrible red nose :)
OH damn!! I would recommend using a beauty blender, super light layers... but also sometimes foundations just don't work haha you may have to abandon
The Milani foundation broke me out horribly, I really wanted to love it because it's cheap and it looked good when I put it but after couple ours I could fry an egg in my face lol
