It's coming out nicely one thing I've learned about my dads 4 cylinder 06 (sedan) is that the mpg is great especially for the amount of driving I'll be doing in the future after I graduate high school it's making me highly interested in investing in one or get my father's if he plans to upgrade then lol

Subbed bro. I know you got that '17 Touring, but I'm still following. Getting an '07 EX-L Navi V6 Sedan w/ 103K on it next week. Pretty hyped.

What parts of the car are vinyl wrapped and what parts are plasti-dipped? I'm thinking of maybe giving plasti-dip a try once I move somewhere where the weather isn't as nasty.

So far the roof, side mirrors, side skirts, hood, front fenders and front bumper are already converted over from dip to vinyl 👊😁 I still have the doors, rear QPs, trunk lid and rear bumper to do but I'd say at this point I'm over 50% done! w00t!
Nothing is wrong with dip and by all means I went that route first as well so I say go for man! The reasons why I went the vinyl route now is because: 1) the color evenness 2) vinyl is thicker and more durable than dip even though I applied a good 8-9 coats and 3) after this past winter the dip is starting to peel in a couple places like the wheel wells.
Now that I've experienced both, hands down I'll take a wrap over the dip on any given day 😉

+DreaminAccord Oh heck yeah, I agree wrap is more durable, but it also takes a bit of extra skill! Your wrap job looks great and at least in this video you can't even tell the difference between the dip and the wrap so it's nice that you'll be able to slowly go panel by panel in the conversion!
I've got a 7th gen black Accord. The paint is has a couple small chips, but it'd be fun to play around with a complete change. Currently I'm up here in AK and the weather is too brutal for dip, it probably wouldn't last a season, but I'm heading to AL and the weather will probably be more mild :D
      Car looks good!

+Zachary Garcia (zakzackzachary) thanks bro! And that's exactly what I'm doing - going panel by panel lol when the dip is washed the two are almost identical! the dip's just filthy right now haha
You should definitely play w color changing 👍 I always wanted a pearl white or silver (light color) 7.5G coupe but our gen didn't come with black leather with white or red and now I have it 😀 my OEM color is graphite pearl (gray). One great thing about both methods is it's 100% reversible. The dip will definitely fill in and hide a lot of those imperfections in your paint - it did mine. Because vinyl is lot layered to fill it in and is presses right up against the paint it will show those small dents more. Again though, all depends on what color you go with. ;)
