The gargoyles in this game have been done so dirty by fromsoft. They have some of the coolest movesets in the game, yet are almost always found on garbage terrain or as a gank fight
It's not the terrain, their models are just too big for something that has skinny legs and no way to auto lock on the feet. Even if you were to fight them on flat ground it would still be annoying, because you will constantly be hitting in the gap between the legs.
@lemonnade5974 tbh I never really had a problem with hit detection on the gargoyles. Maybe if you're using thrusting swords or fists it might be an issue, but most builds that I use have no such issue. Maybe it's because I fight them without lock on. I usually die to them because I got stuck on a rock or something 😭
