This is my great uncle, my grandmother was Maelani Cazimero-Wilcox. She was from a small town on Hilo called Kohala. Love and miss her everyday, she was so proud of her nephews! She always spoke so highly of them and how she got to see them play at Carnegie Hall in 1989. After she passed, my band was on tour in San Francisco so I stopped in to Amoeba. While browsing I found a used Brothers Cazimero cassette tape, so I bought it. We listened to that tape until it wouldn't play anymore. God Bless
Was privileged to be assigned to Pearl Harbor back in the 80s. I married a local. I grew to love this kind of music and dance. And now, It is the Hawaii I still love and still miss. It aint about money, it aint about High living. It's about spirit. It's about love of a culture, an island and it's people.
I lived there 20 years ago. You are absolutely correct. Once you've live in Hawaii, it's hard to readjust to mainline living. I want to retire there in a few years. I will be broke and my material standard of living will be greatly reduced. But none of that matters when you live there.
amzing how only one person can sound this amazing. I never tired listen to your voice again and again... And Tehani your are the Miss Aloha Hula and more..
She dances like a sweet, gentle ocean wave. If a wave can smile, it would look like her smile. This soulful voice connects us to that paradise we all long to see someday. Look at that wall of green behind her, so impossibly beautiful..just like what paradise is like. Someday when I see paradise it would be Hawaii.

Tehani's dancing is as Beautiful as Robert's singing. Both brings tears to my eyes.
She dances like a true Polynesian. So beautiful, gentle and flows naturally.

So very beautiful -- brings me to tears every time I hear Robert Cazimero sing this. And the wonderful hula dancer. Such grace and beauty.

Marie R Beautiful expression. There is such depth of feeling both in the hula and the gorgeous mele, that I always cry. Beautiful Hawaii!
This is the embodiment of aloha. Makes the heart soar!
beautiful Hawaiian dancer, lovely and graceful hula and Robert sang with such emotion.
Lovely song. The piano is so loud it over shadows the voice of Cazimero.
