I tried to clean one old bronze vessel using your technique ..it worked so well and the vessel looks like a new one..thanks so much,never thought cleaning these old vessels would be so easy till now..also your idea to add baking powder, works really well and scrubbing is not needed much..thanks again🙂

Simple add 1/2 cup vinegar and 5 tbsp salt and shake it continuously for 1 or 2 minutes then leave it for 10 minutes… , later rinse, with water till the odour vanishes! That's it, it will become sparkling clean!
