I have, love, and still use this camera! Bought new for me as a gift from my brother Isaac :). My first good camera! Still a great shooter, 15/20 years later.

Nice! These are awesome cameras. I loved using the one I had for some years.

If you use one of the compatible speed light flashes with this camera it will be a little top heavy. So just take it off when you're done with it.

Very well explained! I’ve had the Dynax 5 version, as one of the differences with the Alpha Sweet II version it doesn’t have the flap in the mirror box.
Overall Dynax 5 is great, but sometimes I got this kind of red line (maybe it was a light leak?) on several frames I’ve shoot.
I’ve checked the light seals condition of mine, but it turns out all the light seals just in the right place.
Do you know where the problem is?

Thank you and for the red line, what kind of film are you using and is it only the first handful of frames?

@@DavidHancockThe red-light leak lines was seen on the results of two rolls I’ve used: Kodak Aerocolor IV and a motion picture film Kodak Vision3 50D. Other films I used didn’t have the same result and the picture it’s just fine.
      What do you think?

@@najwaranaiswari9938 got it. That helps. Both of those films do that. Film stocks have emulsion to record images on the front of the film and antihalation layers on the back to prevent image fogging... Except those two films are a couple film types that don't. So light leaking through the felt of the film cassette will always cause those lines with those films. I have a video series called All About Film and I've made detailed reviews about both of those film stocks, and about 30 others, if you're interested in learning more details about specific films.
