1.Jalukie town which is the commercial hub of Peren where almost everything will be available.
2.For sportsman there are advanced turf ground for football and an indoor stadium for badminton.
3.For food lovers there are lots cafe and restaurants like the one Brother Lanu visited and the most popular Chollen Bakery.
4.There is a beautiful park in Samziuram called Ranger's park just 3-4km away from Jlk town
5.There are few popular picnic spot called Samziuram bridge and Kezanglwa bridge and just above it there is a Historical stone shaped in woman breast.
6.You can also visit the tourist village of Benreu which is in the foot of the third highest mountain in Nagaland Mt.Pauna.
7.Poilwa village where the only Nagaland's Sheep farm is located.
8.And some beautiful picnic spots in Tepuiki river.
9.And the most popular Shalom resort in Gaili village.

In the early 80's it used to take 5 to 6 hours to reach Peren from Dimapur
