Oh I can relate to this. We lost our house during covid . Lost jobs home everything. It took us until this past April to get our new apartment. We had to build back up! It was so hard on us but we have gained so much gratitude and have been humbled by the whole situation! I love your videos your spunk and your encouragement is well received!

I can relate to your story. I think I know what happened to you. Something financially similar happened to me and put me in a position that I had never been in before. It set me back and I was helping someone who ended up double crossing me. My nature is to be the helpful person. I learned a lot about myself AND OTHERS from that mistake and I have to be careful not to repeat it. I recently had to say "No" to someone that asked for financial help. That conversation had a negative and aggressive outcome that shook me up pretty badly. Just as expected, they figured out another solution, but I never received an apology for the inappropriate verbal treatment. End of the day...I probably saved myself from another bad decision. Glad you are happy and feeling the weight off your shoulders, Anthony.
And the thing about it is if the shoe was on the other foot they will not be able to help you financially. I am in that position now and can't wait to get out of it.
God really brought me here. I started watching the channel back in May and now it all makes sense. You mentioned how us as viewers are oddly interested lol and I always wondered why I was so captivated by your videos and personality lol because I don’t watch personal ‘UA-camrs’ but as I’m watching and you’re explaining it just makes sense and I relate heavily!! Love it here! 😂🤍🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 blessings.
Been there..sold my house to buy a condo because I was tired of cutting grass and etc...BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE!! I got very sick 2 months after moving in and couldn’t work because I had a 24/7 IV in my arm. Glad I found out the hard way I’m not a condo person. Way too many nosy busybodies...
That is sad to hear.......I never liked the idea of condo living because even after you pay it off....you still had to pay condo fees. That too me was a turn off from condo living....and too close to other people.
oooooooooooh for me , a condo would be a LAST resort , just for the very reason you stated . the ONLY condo I would consider , is , ( one i could not afford , mind you ) a VERY high end one . those people get it , they mind their own business and RESPECT the privacy of others . they tend not to be messy because , they have paid so much for their place and don't want any problems . but you're right , if a part of the roof goes etc , everyone is charged a " condo fee "................not a good option.......
mizfrenchtwist another problem with Condos is they can tell you what you can do on the inside of your home. When I got mine I had 3 small dogs and as soon as they, the condo board, found out they demanded I get rid of one of my dogs. They said it’s in the condo laws you can only have 2. Told them the real estate agent knew I had 3 and never said one word about it to me. Give me an area of land and my tiny house and get off my land
@@carolynmedlock811 ........girl , you're reading my mind. i want a tiny home and some land as well . where i can have a little veggie and flower garden and i'm cool . i think , that will be my next move , MOST HIGH WILLING..yes , the condo boards are very controlling and invasive . as far as i'm concerned , a condo , is nothing more than a glorified apartment..........and NOT that glorified either...............
Anthony again I truly enjoyed your videos, they are so inspiring to me. I truly can relate. I lost my apartment and car that I just had less then a year due to lack of funds not having enough income. So now I’m re thinking my situation and starting all over again. Believe me it does makes you a stronger person. Take care many blessings.
Great to hear someone taking responsibility for their own decisions. Seems like the whole world wants to blame someone or something for what is really their own doing. I respect you so much Anthony for your candor & insight.❤
Your freedom and ability to pick up and move because you were not attached to a mortgage is why I sometimes hear homeownership referred to as GOLDEN handcuffs. When people own a home it is like being handcuffed to the job, the neighborhood or a lifestyle and there is no escape.
Hey Anthony...thx for sharing this story and your insight. I've been hearing ppl say for years that paying rent is a waste of money and I have been disagreeing for years bc owning a house is more than a notion and is NOT for everyone. Each person has to do what's best for THEM when it comes to a huge purchase and responsibility such as owning a hse...do what's best for you and hats off to you for clearing up the foreclosure the way you did...stay blessed!
I don’t understand what happened that caused the loss of your home. Did you tell us and I missed it? I’m glad you are happy it happened in any case. Best to you Anthony.

Hey Anthony I’m binge watching. Lesson learned and you’re happy now. Everybody don’t need or want a house. I’ve never lived in one so it’s ok if I never have one. Plus there’s not only the mortgage, there’s insurance, repairs, shoveling snow. That’s not for me. I’m loving your videos.
Great video. I like the idea of freedom to. If I had a wife or kids or something, maybe I'd feel different. But as I'm happily single, I do like the idea I can pretty much up and move to a new state with very few/little burdens...I don't have to sell a house and have very few belongings. As long as I have the $$ and the time, I can up and leave town for a weekend with no one to really answer to about it and no house to take care of. I mean I HATE apartments, I would never want to live in one again. But I enjoy your perspective on the lease
I get so sick of them kind of people always trying to get you to buy a house, they not gone pay the mortgage with you. And i had that same problem with this lady i worked with for 16 years she kept nagging me to buy a house because she was going to buy one. I told her hell naww i was 49 at the time. I told her yo ass gone still be paying a mortgage when she retired. Anyway she got one and now 2022 she cant work anymore she on disability at 62 , im 56 . She lost her home . I moved to another state and this is one reason I didn't want to buy a home because i knew me and my family was gone move to another city. Hey, i tell anyone if you want to buy a house kudos to you do your thing, im good 😊. Buying a home is not for Everyone. I say if you haven't planted that seed at 25 its a waist of time to me. And depends on your job and your way if living as well and are you gone be there in the next 30 years or more paying for that home. Now days i wouldn't trust buying a home the way the economy is going unless you got blessed with a lotto ticket. And you can pay cash for one. Thats the only way i will buy one . I would buy me a 5th wheel and a big ass ford truck to pull it on and and call it a day 😄😄😄and and injoy my millions that way.
