Travel Hoang Su Phi with Actxplorer Vietnam

It was early 2018 when Actxplorer started a project to develop sustainable tourism in Hoang Su Phi, a district in Ha Giang province, in the far north of Vietnam. Hoang Su Phi is one of Vietnam’s most remote areas and remains untouched by mass tourism. The breath-taking landscape is characterized by a vast mountain range with beautifully sculptured rice terraces as far as the eyes can stretch. It is home to 12 different ethnic minorities and an area rich of culture and natural beauty.
Seven young locals, all from ethnic minorities throughout different villages in Hoang Su Phi, have been trained about the tour guide profession, responsible tourism, and English communication. For 6 months they left family and friends behind to go to Hanoi where Actxplorer offered them accommodation and training. CRED, a local NGO supported the students with an allowance.
Now they have completed the training course, they can’t wait to get more hands on experience and are more than excited to show you their beautiful land!
