Got my visa today. They didn't ask for any document apart from my passport and payment receipt which i had already put inside my passport .they didn't ask for any document even when I tried to present my invitation letter. But the documents were my confidence booster

Hello There- My boyfriend is applying for the B1/B2 visa to attend a conference. The inviters sponsoring his trip are willing to provide Accomodations for him to stay for the 6 months so he can explore the US. There financial bank statements show a balance of 3.3K. Would that be enough? If not, would they consider a high balance credit card limit of 10,000? Should he say he wants to stay for 6 months at the interview or say a shorter period of time like one month due to low funds?
6 months stay with less funds he will be automatically denied. Because calculate the living expenses Plus ticket, transportation within USA, food, Accommodation, and other bills. what exactly will those invitees will benefit from his coming? which employer will give such long leave? and what return will they get from his long stay. his intention clearly shows he will never return.
If you think you have enough in your account still present your bank statement to support your case incase something happened and you can't reach your sponsors you can take care of yourself at least 5 days In hotel and transportation.

check the city where your boyfriend lives minimum hotel daily rate, and advice yourself incase something happened how can you take care of yourself. to my understanding just try and save more. depends how long do you want to stay.
