I have Similar story and experience. All my children are born in Seattle WA. I moved to Mogadishu in 2021 and to my surprise we love to life there and my children can read the Quran easily, speak Somali fluently and don't even want come back to Seattle. ❤
Alhamdulillah! Always love hearing return stories. The greatest investment for the next generation, for their Deen, their Dhaqan and their self-esteem. The longer we stay in the West the greater the confusion in our identity and become culturally assimilated.
Insha allah brother 🤲🇸🇴
Mashallah Redman, you did great job
Don’t lie, you’re from tukwila lol…
@@24434-Allahhis back in seattle bro read his comment. He says at the end his children dont want to come back to seattle. If he was in Somalia with them he wouldve said they dont want to go back to seattle..
😂😂😂😢😅
I am from Somali and I left Somalia 15 years ago I just came back with my kids and when they saw animals on the street they were shocked so excited. They said this is the best place we ever visited. Now they are learning quran, language and the culture so nice. 😅😅😅

Welcome to Somalia bro. I would like to meet you but unfortunately am not in Somalia now. Thank you brother for choosing Somalia as a place to live. I wish you success while you live there.
as salam alaikum how do i move to muslim country can you help me
Bro, they’re lots of Muslim countries over there. If you want to try living in a Muslim county, first and foremost you have to explore which country suits you for example weather conditions and living cost. Then, you need to order visa for that country. That’s it. But, do a research before you decide which country to go. I hope my advice will help you.
thank you brother@@abdirahmanmohamed763
The macawiis. You are officially Somali mashallah. I would like your videos to be longer and to open us up to the life in somalia and how it is. Especially in terms of safety and day to day living.

Am really appreciated your point of view of living in Somalia as a foreigner Muslim person, What I know from the bottom of my heart is that Somali peoples have good hospitality when it comes to welcome the foreign Muslim brothers and sisters . The country is mending from civil war and it will be 100% safe soon. Am encouraging the Somali people who are living abroad to come to the country and Take a part the ongoing development of the country as for the foreign Muslim brothers and Sisters you are welcome to our country. As for brother Sam thank you very brother for your positive feedback, may you live in peace and prosperity with your family.

May ALLAH make easy life for you and your family in Soamlia.
in general, Somalis are very good people for the hospitality especially if you are coming from another country. very respectfull people. but pls don't mind if you hear words like: WHO IS THIS ARAB, LOOK AT THIS WHITE GUY, these words does not mean hatred or racism but rather out of curiosity, and because they are not multicultrul country.somalis are oral society and they like to know everything around.
Masha allah thanks for sharing us ur experience of the life of somalia.

Mashallah Sam, I love your positive image of Somalia and kuhadleka afsoomaliga
Thanks my pro form somalia❤❤❤❤
I have asked around a little but I would love to see a video on your experience with the schools: choosing one, quality of education, how your children have adapted et cetera. 👀
Also would be interesting if you have been to any other cities and if you could compare the experience of those with the capital. Maybe controversial but how is the Somalia and Somaliland "issue" seen over there 👀
Nobody thinks about that.same as Djibouti,Ogaden, and half Kenya have been populated by Somalis for millennias but colinization spread us apart.everyone just calls it Somalia and no one rally speaks about it
the Sweden flag is a cross i think
The federal government of Somalia is getting stronger and stronger . The Somaliland separatists have recently suffered a big blow to their ambition to gain independence. This is because forces that are loyal to the federal government have emerged in laascanood north of Somalia and claim to not be part of somaliland .
@@i_am_Muslim2 so? its just a curious person posting a comment.

Please change the Sweden flag because there is a cross and secondly Sweden is one of the enemiest country that hate our Islam religion

Assalaamu Alaikum Brother. I should begin by thanking you for your inspiring videos. May Allah (swt) bless you and & your family. While i am old enough to be your mother, our thoughts are very similar w regard to wanting to be in a majority Muslim country. I am a US citizen of African American and Native American ancestry (with little drops of blood from all over the world including Scotland and Wales). Anyhoo, i don't think i've ever felt so much like an alien in my own country as i do these days. One of my most fervent prayers is that Allah (swt) will allow me to escape this wretched place before i die. My Muslim next door neighbor/friend is trying her best to convince me to try the Gambia because her daughter is married to a Gambian and she (my friend) has spent some years there, but i'm not so sure. I most definitely want to be where the people love Qur'an and where teachers can be found.
Every result given on 23&me is +/-15% accuracy, only a very small percentage of generic markers are measured and all cross referenced to very general data of genetic markers. What it really is a huge biometric database that is being gathered for western governments
