Yes please! I love listening to Cypress Fyre acoustic version on repeat of My Maria while dancing!
What would be the point? How would it be in any way better? What makes this version is partly the amazing guitar work of Chris Chatham, as well as the bass and keys filling out the sound. His voice is also an essential part and (if you need reminding) he is not a member of HF. The amazing sound of two high tenors and a falsetto would not be available within HF.
Some people need to accept that not everything is better a capella, in fact that a lot of what they like would lose its essential character if you removed the instrumentation.
