I made a sharp chef knife

Today I bring you the construction of this chef knife in Damascus steel with a stabilized curly mango handle.
This time with some practical tests on vegetables to demonstrate its functionality.
I find it interesting to describe some specifications about chef knives. Starting with the thickness, which can be seen to be very thin. This reduces weight and friction with the cut object, which increases cutting power and makes its use more comfortable.
The wide blade helps keep your hands away from the cutting surface and guides a more precise cut on large foods.
Stabilized wood is a good material for the handle as it has no porosity (its pores are filled with resin in a pressurized chamber), which means that bacteria and other microorganisms do not develop.

Hoje trago a construção dessa faca chef em aço damasco com empunhadura de curly mango estabilizado.
Dessa vez com alguns testes práticos em legumes para demonstrar sua funcionalidade.
Acho interesante descrever algumas especificações sobre facas chef. A começar pela espessura, que pode-se notar ser bem fina. Isso diminui o peso e o atrito com objeto cortado, o que aumenta o poder de corte e torna seu uso mais confortável.
A lâmina larga ajuda a manter as mãos longe da superfície onde se corta, e guia um corte mais preciso em alimentos grandes.
A madeira estabilizada é um bom material para a empunhadura por não ter porosidade(seus póros são preenchidos com resina numa câmara pressurizada), isso faz com que bactérias e outros microorganismos não se desenvolvam.
