The P-47 fly-by genuinely made me smile for the first time this week.
you okay bro? first time you've smiled this weeks? its friday?
@@Midwest.photographer Nothing I see on the news or where America is going to make me smile either
That Citation's final approach looked similar to what Jack Roush attempted in his Premier when he crashed there a few years ago.
Rousch had traffic and needed to go around, which he completely fucked up.
Which time? He’s crashed 2 or 3 Phenom’s….. I’m assuming the one in 2010. The other was in Alabama where the pilots hit power lines and flipped upside down into a lake…
There's a huge difference in the Citation's approach & Jacks approach. The Citation's approach was tighter and he also had the skills to do what he was doing.
@@williammullis1913 Jack's was almost exactly as tight, but with less airspeed, thus the stall/spin. Fortunately he was close to the ground.
Thanking the same. Exact same runway and everything. So stupid. That AOA was probably crazy in that turn.
OMG this is probably one of the most incredible aviation videos I have ever seen. Such an incredible history of aircraft.. no talking. Just aircraft sounds. Great work. Great photography. I have never been, but maybe I will need to plan a trip to Oshkosh next year. Amazing job!
0:08 Well, this Citation approach was uh… fun. Great catches!
Citation Max would never do that.
@@jgrazzi12=
@@jgrazzi yeah
that was crazy. high bank angle and low speed, low altitude, crazy
Also known as the Jack Roush turn to final.
(10:00) This red and black Beechcraft 18 is gorgeous! It's crazy how agile this plane is, given its size and considering it was first built in 1937. Beautiful buzzing engines too.
Matt Youngkin airshows - I believe.
😅❤
Thank You, for someone who loves aviation and has never been I appreciate you bringing that to us viewers. What a spectacular event.
been to Sun& fun twice while going to NAA in Clearwater for my A&P cert.2008 & 9 great show! Osh Kosh is on my bucket list-- has been for years-damn hope I live long enough to go I'm 72 now....

That Connie! I just watched a video on her restoration. Sweet bird! Thanks for the updates! HI MOM! I turned my mom on to your channel yesterday. She's been wanting to see the action. She lives about a block or so from C47 so she gets to see the feeder action to Oshkosh this time of year, but hadn't a clue what it looked like there. Now she knows and yay!, another sub! Cheers, brother!
Was just at the airshow on Wednesday. We were sitting in the food tent unaware when the F22 flew by, we all dang near crapped our pants! Lol what an awesome show!
A friend of mine in high school invited me to a small air show in Harrison, AR where his dad was the announcer. We had passes that allowed us access to everything. The guy doing the pyrotechnics invited us to help him. Nothing quite like putting det cord into a stick of dynamite, covering that with a trash bag full of jet A, then setting off the charge from not more than 100 yards away as vintage WWII aircraft fly right over your head. Good times (that I didn’t tell my parents about until many years later).
Thank you so much for this. I couldn’t be there this year and am stuck in Australia. This gives me my OSH fix. More would be wonderful. Thank you so much. Kevin
Oh! I had no idea a Guppy was still airworthy. How cool is that!
I had completely forgotten how huge the galaxy is😮
oh yeah, the C5, not the Milky Way, lol (I did a double take there for a sec.)
0:37 We had her (VC-121A "Bataan") at KUAO for a week before Oshkosh, and we're missing her already...😢 now we know where she went!
The most gorgeous airplane in this video by far.
Many thanks for this series of great videos. It gives a great impression of being there.
That Raptor was cooking! He was quick with that gear up!
This show must take an amazing amount of time and effort to coordinate everything and accommodate all of those aircraft coming and going at various times in several areas. The amount of volunteers and professionals is just fantastic. I know very little about aircraft but this show would definitely be the one to see. Well done everyone involved.👍👍🇨🇦
I want to see the super guppy land, then a bunch of ultralights fly out of it.
That a bizarre looking machine. Looks like it has a massive headache. 😀
...and a hot air balloon. lol
@@A.J.1656"Hot Air Balloon, do a vertical!"
Ok I may have spit some red bull up this morning when I read this 😂
Yeeeeehaaaaaawwwww !
Love the sights and sounds of all the aircraft, especially the "Connie". Thanks for the video.
Rare plane for sure.
That Howard taking off @ 7:50 is beautiful; only a few of those still around. The Beech 18's are still my favorite of all.
Slight bank on approach....lol
Brought flashbacks of Jack Roush landing on 18 several years ago. We were walking the flight line back to our Long Ez when it happened.
5:26 that Osprey's engines sounds a bit rough 😂
Yes ❤thanks so very much I too love aviation and appreciate you sharing this amazingly beautiful event with me ❤
I would bet a significant amount of money, the first citation, was a Navy carrier pilot. Guaranteed.
There are 3 active runways in use. That is a normal approach to stay away from the cross runway off the north end. It is an impressive, well-oiled operation.
Me, sitting at Oshkosh, watching videos from Oshkosh. Will it ever be enough for me?
Love a great airshow!
7:48 The Howard 500! This beast could outrun and outrage the first gen Gulfstreams. There is a green one with some art on the tail show a panicked Gulfstream with Donald Duck behind him on the 500 screaming SCRAM!
This is great! Thanks from us who couldn't be there.
Guppy and Connie in formation: what a sight that'd be 😆
I went to this in 2009, Memories for life
Ugh, i wish couldve been there, with the Migs and L-39s i would love to see those up close, especially that Mig-23
so excited im going next year !!!
The Jack Roush approach
Wow that camo on the MiG29 😛
Those daring men in their flying machines. That's why I learned to fly long ago. Breaking the bonds of earth even for a while is one of the ultimate feats man has accomplished. Being alone in the sky looking down on the world, there are few words to describe how one feels. You are in control of your life totally, once you lift off. I wish I were able to take to the air alone just one more time, but age has grounded me. Long live those daring men in their flying machines. And the few women that dare take the left seat.
That unstabilzed approach in that Citation was definitely some big time idiotic cowboy bullshit!
A little shakey on the controls, but a normal approach to that runway during Airventure. There are three active runways in operation. It is a sight to see how well the air traffic is handled. The light aircraft mostly use the cross runway. They land 3 airplanes at a time. Three different color dots. You're assigned a dot to touch down on.
@@roylane1564 but are you supposed to land nearly stalling? lose a few knots and you're dropping a wing....
@roylane1564 I've been to Oshkosh EAA airshows many times and NO, that is not a "normal" or safe approach for a jet when landing that direction on that runway. His left wingtip was less than 20 feet from snagging the ground before he hard rolled it level. Then he had to power up to reach the "dot", but was also more than likely below Vref. Another second waiting to roll level and he would've cartwheeled into a fireball. Complete dumbassery!
@@herkloader34 yep, same thing happened in 2019 when a bonanza pilot nearly killed himself right in front of everyone. ua-cam.com/video/gh3wkfD_BJw/v-deo.html
Real Airplane! moment at 5:08
Wonderful ❤❤❤
The first jet landing... that pilot is a boss.
Thank you so much for sharing. I keep saying that I'm going to travel to Osh Kosh one year to experience this in person.
Great camera work... thank you for posting this.
well done, very nicely put together video. I just bought an Air Command gyro last week and was wondering why its been so hard to get parts...... everybody is at Oshkosh!
awesome video!
Thank you again for posting these videos. I love it. This is my daily ritual, watching these. And you never disappoint. Great work!
Thanks for sharing. Awesome airshow!
Awesome! Thank you.
Loved the highlights...thank you from me in London.❤
The Connie looks awesome
Nice compilation. Awesome editing!
Thank you for sharing.
Thank you!
I NEED TO GO THERE
Beautiful Cessna Citation landing !
Beautiful camera work! I missed the Connie coming in and didn't see Bonnie in the air for the show but glad you.hace what I missed. Great job
Did I spot some gear trouble with the Staggerwing at 11:05, or is that normal for that gear door to be flapping around like that?
Thanks for sharing!~
Outstanding!
The Guppy . Is it a Bird ? Is it a Plane ? Is it a Dirigible ? Is it Feasible ? LOOKS like it shouldn't work . The Sukhoi's really are a GOOD looking Plane .
Would’ve loved to of been in ATC Tower to hear all the radio chatter as they coordinate everything.
Maybe,in some future videos, you could include some of the ATC radio traffic?
This was awesome! Thank you!
Sound's of freedom!!! Love it!!
Another great video 🎉
Awesome!
Glad I made it there.
Love the daily highlight format!
Outstanding.
AWESOME , THANKS
I caught The C5M 84-0062 circling Oshkosh
The super contelation was fantastic !..... and only one ocean-going tanker needed to get back home.
Really digging these daily updates!
4:34 FLY NAVY!
Yes!
Thank you for this content.
Thank you SO much for posting! I wasn't able to make it this year due to health issues, so I can at least watch here! 😊
great vid bro
Cool a Mig 29
That was so good for many reasons, thankyou for sharing.
Yet another AWESOME video, guys!!!!!!!!!
Love the Twin Beech flight demonstration.
That Corp jet made a great hot carrier break landing
Awesome captures! May I feature this first landing in one of my next episodes? Of course with a link back to your original video. Cheers!
My highlight was meeting RaZZ again for the second time. Today im going to get my F22 shirt signed by him :)
We were waiting in the line for take off when that Citation landed. From the angle we saw it from I honestly though he was going to drag a wingtip and cartwheel that thing in the middle of the runway!
The GUPPIE is so cute...🤠😎✈
Staggerwing beech the most beautiful plane ever IMO.
As good as the clip was .....Nothing beats the beauty of "THe Connie" Can we see more of it please?
My favorite was.... all of them
A lot of flying in 12 minutes...well done!!
When we say short finals, we MEAN short finals
Nice stuff! Oshkosh is on my bucket list. Would be even better with subtitles, or if you could somehow include the announcers voice that could be heard.
I'm very glad the announcer is well in the background
The Constellation is a sexy aircraft.
amazing aerobatics video
That citation didn’t understand that it wasn’t supposed to be an arial act
We were standing right on the flightline when the citation came in. I remember as it was swinging around the turn to final I thought, "Should we run?" Instead we just stood there and watched as it went right past us. Not the smartest decision lol
1.6K+ subscriber LIKE; and the 35,253rd view-from-a-desktop will happen sometime today... 1:36 - diggin' on The Coneheads' flyby demonstration.
Jeepers - plenty of room & fun for the whole family!! 2:22 - WOW - the job of Traffic Cop/Crossing Guard there on the ground is pretty gnarly.
The Citation approach confirms he is a BOLD pilot... no need to worry about being an OLD one in the future.
5 eargasms with no cigarette breaks. Awesome.
So many amazing, beautiful planes. The Red Bull helicopter made me think of Blue Thunder from the 80s. That being said, no matter what else you're doing, if an F15 is going to take off it's worth watching. Too bad they couldn't go vertical.
What camera are you filming with? Thanks
Sony AX-53
never seen a C5 with fully deployed flaps before, 3 Corsairs were Awesome, and a Chopper completing a loop, Had the pleasure of riding on a Navy Super Connie from Rodman, Canal Zone to Norfolk in Sep 1973. Boarded it in the early morning darkness on a runway clearing in the jungle.
Wonderful video!
Could you please advise how many times is your zoom for aerial images taken from the spoter zone?
Many thanks from Brazil
What the heck was that Cessna Citation doing?
Some people get a little weird with an audience. I bet he does the same thing when there's a big boy jet holding short waiting for him to land. lol
