Destination Wedding in Gordes, France

Lara & John tied the knot in a village classified as 'One of the Most Beautiful Villages in France'. And indeed it is! Perched on a hilltop overlooking the Luberon mountain range this village is literally a postcard perfect location!
The couple privatized the entire hotel for their friends and family over a weekend in September. The warm days, soft light and magical essence that Provence exudes is a photographer's dream. Plus a gorgeous bride and handsome groom help too!
The ceremony took place in the gardens by the pool, with a cocktail hour plunging over the valley below. Guests enjoyed garden games, live music, and canapés at this Relais & Chateau property that is truly exceptional.
Dinner and dancing were held in a lovely room that opened up onto a large terrace where guests would step outside to enjoy the crisp fall air and the twinkling lights dancing in the distance.

Beautiful. Many get married in France, for various reasons. Our brides have stated that their wedding WEEKEND cost less than their one day wedding would of cost in the UK . Others with Family round the world find France central and fairer to all travellers. Not to mention the sheer romance. ALL though leave with memories that will last a lifetime
