Congrats bro! She is a beauty. I own a 96 impala SS black with 28k original miles. I purchased from the original owner. This has been my dream car since I firts seen it. After a wife and 3 kids later I was finally able to treat myself. Salute from Los Angeles 🙌 🙏 👏
COOL CAR!! BIG CAR RIDE. PUT A SUPPER CHARGE ON IT AND FLY DOWN THE ROAD.
Can’t wait til I get mines
Nice find best 90s car of all time in my opinion was the car I wanted in high school 25 years later I finally got me a 95 I don’t care what year it is as long as it’s a IMPALA SS , remember as long as you have a dream and you don’t stop chasing it one day it might COME TRUE!!!!!!!! GOD BLESS EVERYONE 🫡 respect ✊🏽💯💯
Congradulations on your 95 Impala SS.! I love to see how many people still have these cars and still have things they want to uograde on them . My High School car I had was a 1988 Chevy caprice my dad bought for $500. It had a 305 in it and it was 5 different colors from the hood to the trunk lol
Nice Ride bro
I think you got a fine Impala there!
I have a 95 SS and I luv it…keep the vids coming
Yes sir thats my plan . I will keep the camera rolling!!
I have a 95' that I bought new. Nice car to 'Mod and pass on to your heirs!
Nice dream car
Thanks man I appreciate it.
*Subscribed. Great car. Definitely on my bucket list too. I have a 94 Caprice wagon that has been converted to a stick with a handful of various (practical modifications). Its my second B-Body. For a daily, I would keep the LT1 for now. I am tempted to put an LS motor in mine, as it has a very stout transmission and rear end. But it only has 135,000 miles and it runs good. You know what they say about things that aren't broken. I get it for a box Chevy with a tired 305, but the later B-Bodies are pretty solid and peppy even in 2023.
Great start I will follow your journey big bro keep up good content 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽🔥
Man I really do appreciate you . Thanks Iand I wont let you down!!
Mine sat for 10 yrs as well!! Big mistake!! I just had a 3rd transmission put in mine!! The 96 SS is my SECOND favorite out of my bunch!! My Corvette is my number 1!!!!
What all did have to replace besides the transmission?
Congratulations to you on your 1996 Chevrolet Impala ss car I gotten my's last year in October from North Jackson Ohio I stay in Houston.
Hello, actually keep 2 of them in a clean heated garage & have them on stands so tires don't get crushed after a while, don't ask me how I know if it sits for a couple of years...
Congratulations bro! 😎 You saved a gem 💯. Love to see it man. Also it's a lot you can do with that car with the LT1. Even if you still plan to swap there's a bunch you can/should do before any major engine mod or swap that'll help with performance. Trust me it's a lot lol
Thanks for the feedback! I really appreciate it . I have a ton of ideas for the car . I just dont know where to start . Its my first time building a car and I want it to turn out really nice. Do you know what you would start with first?
@@carswithdre681 Keep your LT1 engine for your car it's a great wonderful engine I still got my LT1 for my Impala 96.
What up niko love them videos ✊🏽✊🏽💯💯
@@neal6473 yup no need to change it 💯💯✊🏽✊🏽🫡 I feel you only need to swap it if it’s dead and lt1 is trashed , mine has enough power plus I Cherish mine I drive my 95 like if it was my 62 I just cruise but from time to time I’ll punch it😂 And they both can’t get up with their original engines
@@carswithdre681 if it runs good I’d start with the dash light then body then go on from there one thing at a time , in no time you’ll fall deeply in love with it and appreciate it a whole lot more 💯💯✊🏽✊🏽
Keep it all original.
I thought about doing that still undecided
Timeless yet elegant. The 96 SS is a Endangered Species . Just got my 96 SS in September. Good investment bro she will only increase in value. ✨✨✨
Welcome to the 96 crew lol working on mines now gotta switch out some parts just did fuel pump and filter battery some tires just for now need blower motor for best a/c sprigs in rear and either brakes and or ball joint for some work to do ,but if I tinker away at it every week or month by summer paint or not she should be nice
Congratulations on your 96 SS!! Once you switch out those parts your car should be running like a champ!!. I’m excited to see so many people that have interest in these old school cars. I can’t wait to see how your ride looks when it’s complete. Thanks for viewing my channel.
Dats wassup

Great car, greater wife. You have two gems.

Thanks man I really do appreciate your comment. I have major plans for the Ss . Im starting with all of the smaller fixes and then to ones that will be time consuming.

And what a nice looking 1996 Chevrolet Impala SS you’ve got there- you know Chevrolet phased out the Impala SS after 1996
I've always wanted one myself, I have a 1993 caprice but I've always wanted a 1996 impala ss
My brother had a 1994 caprice with the 350 motor in it and we loved it! Ever since then I knew I had to have one. I was in the right place and the right time to snag this SS. Do you have plans for the Caprice?
Not a bad start do you thing too it. I'm going to do an off the frame on mines soon, dropping the new chevy zz632 with the 4l75e-r trans. Best impala.

@@carswithdre681 it’s crazy how the price has gone up! 18000 I mean come on. I don’t wanna downgrade to a bubble caprice
That car 🚗is worth a pretty penny you did 👍 well.
Thanks man . For this car to have sat for 10 yrs its not in that bad of shape . Im suprised it still runs strong too
I wish I could find one. My goal would be to do a complete restoration back to stock
They are very hard to find trust me. I was lucky to speak to the guy and had the money saved at the time to purchase it. Im truly greatful to have had the oppurtunity.
I wish they would've kept the Impala like this when they revived it, instead it was one last hurrah.
Yeah I agree
