- The double-decker Airbus A380 is known as the worlds largest passenger aircraft type. After the pandemic, quite a few airlines started bringing them back into service which was unexpected for some. British Airways was one of them, and I got a chance to fly on a 7-year-old A380 jumbo jet from Chicago O'Hare to BA's hub London Heathrow. Find out how it went in this video.

I love the A380, I see it a lot here in Chicago. Hopefully one day I will fly on it. A380, B787 & A350 are my dream planes to fly on in the future!
Great catch of the King of the sky! I actually did flew with British Airways back in 2016 on their Dreamliner 787 what a nice airlines!

Flying the a380 for the first time in July from BOS to MUC on Lufthansa. It will also be my first long haul business flight so I’m really excited.

I've been to London seven times, all on British Airways and all (going to at least) flight 296. Much to my delight, however, my last time flying home I got an A380!, I was quite giddy, it was nice.
Oh cool! Glad you’ve enjoyed flying with them. I got pretty lucky with the A380, as I took this flight during a somewhat week-long period where BA296 was operating it. Immediately after, they swapped it to a 787 I believe. Before, it was an A350.
So I’m flying out in December and I asked for what day the A380 flew out of Chicago and they couldn’t find me any I’m sad 😞

great video. Were masks still required? Where many people wearing it. Also did they ask passengers to gate check their carry on
Masks weren’t required. I don’t know why some people were wearing them but maybe it was for extra safety. I don’t remember them asking passengers to gate-check carry ons as it likely wasn’t necessary given the aircraft type.
@@K4Ediamond lol come on man. I still wear my mask. COVID variants are still going around. We all have to be cautious even though you are vaccinated. At least the government is not ordering travel restrictions or lockdowns lie china did
When does the a380 fly to Chicago
Not sure. The ORD-LHR flight sometimes operates it but not at this moment. But I wouldn’t be surprised if they brought it back soon.
