I just My 8000k supposed to be blue, but the light only produces white light not a hint of blue
I am not sure how that works. Maybe they made a mistake. 8000k are kind of... An aqua color.. clearly a blue, light blue hue to them.
You have to see what the the watt rating of the bulb is for if you got a 55watt bulb for a 35 watt system/ballast and vise-versa It will change the color of the bulb even If its advertised at 8000k
