I wish mine would've been true dalmatians, but I'm happy with the mutts that I do have...! A gold dust/dalmatian mix ain't too bad...! Thanks for sharing... Keep up your awesomeness...!!!
Yeah that’s the one thing about this line and only reason I bought it was the guy told me they should breed true. Hard to find Dalmatian lines that stay Dalmatian.
Like I said at your last underwater video from this pond. They are beautyfull those redtailed dalmatian. Your not shipping overseas I guess. Well done with the breeding. 😊❤
I know about a small fish farm in Daytona that got invaded by frogs...it's the tadpoles that caused most of the trouble because they are voracious eaters which made it hard to feed fish fry !
Tadpoles are mostly herbivores or scavengers and would complete for food when large if the fish are looking for the same. Frog spawn and hatchlings would be food for many fish.
Surely the frog is zero risk to the fish? Frogs generally feed out of the water or above the water. They would be a benefit to fish. The only exception I can think of is the few fully aquatic species like Xenopus
I’ve been testing it all natural. But as far as the frogs go I wish I had it netted in but also like the mosquito larvae and stuff thats able to get in without the net. It’s a trade off.
Nice fish and setup. Fruits of your labour.

You should get scuds in the ponds to eat your leaf litter. Ponds looking great though. And the fish look amazing
Really enjoyed this update! Thanks Lucas 🎉

They are beautiful now, but if those Dalmatian mollies get more red to their tail they will be spectacular!
Damn those mollies are gorge
Please be sure you hit the like button !!!!😊
So cool
Have you ever tried to sink a little tiny bit of your granule food in the net before dropping it all the way into the water to catch fish easier
I have and works pretty good for certain fish that feed from more the bottom than top. It’s a good strategy for shrimp too.
@@LRBaquatics do the tadpoles feed off the bottom too?

Is there a mesh like cover for ponds to keep frogs out of the water but bugs can get in

But the frogs are no threat to the fish. 😮
@@maxiculture the frogs are definitely threats but hard to control them
@@LRBaquatics in what way are they a threat?
@ they are frogs. Frogs eat fish that fit in their mouths. Some people say they don’t but if you google it you will find they eat fish.
How do you prevent the water from overheating in the sun?
I don’t. Hasn’t been an issue.
If you need too though a shade cloth goes a long way or a potted tree placed right.
You say using does shrimp tanks for fish for a little while but you mean permanent 😂. What if you build a greenhouse around the ponds in the ground 🤔
Lol probably. I would like to some day.
