I'm with you on the double page spreads, oh yes, really dislike not seeing any thumbnails before buying a book...with you on all the peeves, also when some lines to an object are missing. Love the color combos on the flowers.
Same! I hate duplicates!! I don’t color the same page twice and I feel it’s wasted! It’s also a pain when I can’t figure out what is supposed to be on a page! Also who can color in the spine of the book? It drives me crazy! I’m glad I am not alone on these! Beautiful page!
I’m with you on your pet peeves !!! No thumb nail no buy that’s just the way it is with me ! And I don’t like when the art work runs to the spine I hate that ! And another thing that drives me crazy is when the artist doesn’t finish lines or make is sloppy and you have no clue what it going on 😂 I’m just getting very picky on the books I buy 😂
I use a black fine liner sharpie to continue the line. I learned that from ILene Vicks and it is a great hack and makes a huge difference. It is also kind of fun and adds another challenge to the colouring process.
I agree with most pet peeves, but just wanted to say that Amazon does not show previews for pre-orders, so it’s not the publisher/authors fault really.
I have two pet peeves. One is when you are coloring something like a mandala, where the patterns repeate. Sometimes, one section will be just a little different. It makes it hard to decide how you color it. The second is areas of the picture that are not completely drawn. I once came across a background with someone was sitting at a table. The person was really to sketchy to color and then he only had one leg under the table. They just decided not to draw in the part of the that probably as under shadow. Frustrating!
If you are a coloring book illustrator and SO AFRAID of being "scammed" up to the point that you shield your potential customers from previewing a few pages of your work then I feel like you do NOT NEED MY BUSINESS. I will not GIVE you my $$ OR my business. Period. I just don't want that kind of selfish, fearful ," karma" in HOME nor am I going to waste my art 'joy' in your book. My art time is very rare and I will only spend that precious time on 'good" karma books. Angelkova is one of those illustrators who's work is just flooded with goodness. Her sweet and generous spirit comes through in her books. SO NO you are not being overdramatic at all. If an illustrator has CHOSEN to step into the I AM SELLING MY WORK arena, then they need to step in ALL THE WAY (do it right) and let us see a preview of what we are spending our hard earned money on. Shout out of Thanks to all those illustrators who DO give us a taste of what we are going to be spending our precious time and dollars on.❤
Stunning 🥰🔴🟠🟡🟢🔵🟣

I'm just like you, I will not buy a book with duplicates. Ridiculous that some companies do that.

A mandala that is not symmetrical is another good one!! Drives me mad.
