And another project for the grandkids. Soon as the rain goes away,,,, it’s outdoors season,, love all your homemade equipment,, and the grandkids get to practice their skills. Only the 2 youngest still do the outdoorsy stuff with ole grandpa,, but sometimes I can still strongarm there older cousins into a trip or two a year

2 Y's one stuck in the ground as a pivot, 1 long stick with knotch cut and 1 upside down Y stick stuck in the ground to hold the rear end of the cooking pole.
Thats how I cook if not using a tripod.

Yeah, I have to concur with the other commentators here! Most excellent demonstration! Been a Bushman and survivalist from a very young age, it seems that, You never seem to stop learning things 'anew,' just, when you begin to think One knows it all! As I said to another survivalist not long ago. "The beautiful thing about "Knowledge" is that, it is with YOU 24 hours a day, weighs nothing, and is grossly invisible.
