Angelic Upstarts Teenage Warning (tribute to Mensi memorial gig)

1st April 2022 we did a memorial charity gig held at The Hedworth Hall, South Shields it was for Angelic Upstarts founding member and punk rock legend Thomas 'Mensi' Mensforth. Almost £7000 was raised and was donated to NHS South Tyneside Hospital.
Bands playing were Crashed Out, The panic Report and Angelic Upstarts band fronted by Chris Wright.

I was meant to be there but I had a seizure just before leaving to go there.

Never gott to see them live but ive got tickets for the saturday at rebellion to see the exploited and get in the upstarts are playing the saturday aswell ,wont be the same without mensi but i cant wait 😀

Hi Julie It’s not the angelic upstarts playing at rebellion it’s a tribute to the band n Mensi with various people playing.
There is no upstarts without Mensi.
