Happy Birthday David! My dad turned 78 Wednesday. He's been hunkering down for a week now as have my wife and I. We were also to take a big European cruise in May but those plans on hold until next year. Spring I slow in coming here to the Northwoods. It was 21 and blowing snow when I woke up this morning. Hopefully, I'll be able to get out in the woods sooner than later.

Too bad about having to cancel your trip David...i have been planning a ten day canoe trip on the upper Missouri last day in june...I may have to rethink things now with this virus thingy! No problem hitting the river as its a very remote stretch , so any human contact would be rare. I just don't feel right leaving the wife alone in all this mess...Happy 66 David...i'll be there this next May my own self...stay well amigo!...God bless...woods
I'm taking CV seriously, but I'm seriously going out hiking and camping this weekend. I'm ready to get away from social media. At my house we are hunkered down as much as we can get. Unfortunately we work in an "essential" workplace so we have to work. Happy Birthday Ya'll stay safe.
Don't wait for the government to help you. We on the coast waited over 2 weeks for some help after Katrina. That was a small area that needed help, CV is nation/world wide...let that sink in.

@@DavidKralikOutdoors these type of "crisis" teach people a lot. I learned it's not always the situation (hurricane or virus) it's the society that worries me the most. I most definitely will enjoy my trip!
