The Great Adventure Begins

- The Great Adventure is not a new idea. Ain't no wild hare run up my butt. It's something that Shirli and I spent years dreaming of and planning toward. The sad exception to the plan is that I'm making it solo now that Shirli is no longer physically in this world.
In part, it is a memorial run in honor of Shirli. In part, it's just for me ... not to discover myself [I know full-well who I am.] but to sever some stressors that are pulling me apart and reclaim myself.
Good Bones To Start With, Happy To See "FRED" Progress, David. ATB Ter & Mel God Bless
Thanks, Terry. God bless you and Mel.
Iv'e been off the youtube for awhile and did not know of Shirli's passing...so very sorry for your loss David...I hope you are doing well amigo and that you will give an update...God bless...woods
Glad to see you taking your time and letting your "build" grow on you. I think that's the single most common advice we give people is to throw a cook stove, sleeping bag, and cooler in your van, then go live in it. What will be will come to ya. 😉
Also, think in 3D, houses are measured in sq ft, vans are all about how you use all the space.
Exactly. Then there's no major re-do to do.
She will be with you always. See and do all you both planned she is still with you. God bless you. Condolences for you. Go on to honor her and fulfill your self.
Oh my. You touch my heart. Thank you. God bless you too, Nana.
Glad to see you out and about my brother...
It's been a hard ride, bro. I need to come park Fred in your yard soon.
Nice to meet you. I like the God hand in things too. My van is called Dawn, cos it was the start of a new life, that's five years ago now, and my companion for the past 15 years, my dog, is called Fred.
Nice to meet you too. Thanks for the comment.
You always meet the nicest people when camping or travelling. I am interested to see how you fit out Fred for your travels. Stay safe my friend.
Thanks, Bro. It's something I've got to do.
@@DavidKralikOutdoors I get that. When I lost my wife I did a trip around northern Europe for a bit, just to get my head together.
@@jim-bob-outdoors It's a heck of a thing to go through.
Sounds like a great time of fellowship and remembrance. I am glad you have the opportunity to do this brother!
It's a got to bro. And I know where E. KY is and how to get there.
@@DavidKralikOutdoors You always have a place to park Fred up here brother!
@@KentuckyWoodsman y'all are extened family. There's a heart connection here.
I'll be watching for the Fred & Dave's Adventures. There's a lot of different air, trees and rocks to experience up here in my neck of the woods. If you wander up this way, let me know. Lots of State & Federal campgrounds up here also. Plus some acreage one one could camp on.
One suggestion for your stove set up. Those green propane bottles can get mighty expensive. I know a 20# bottle can take up room, but, it way more economical. See if you can figure out a system or spot to safely store a 20# and invest in a hose and adapter. Around these parts, it's pretty easy and affordable to exchange tanks out.
I have plans to visit Wisconsin.
Awesome video. 👍 Safe Adventures
Thank you. I think you are here in Alabama. Where? Judging from your stuff, I'd say NE.
@@DavidKralikOutdoors yes sir. I’m about 4 miles straight west from Jacksonville state university. I’m also close to Talladega national forest and Cheaha state park. Look forward to watching you and Fred’s travels. God Bless. ✝️😀
@@creek_camper I know that area well. I've camped on Dugger Mountain and at Coleman Lake. I'll be back up in that area. Probably soon. I'm in Lower Alabama. Now in Escambia County.
@@DavidKralikOutdoors yes Coleman lake is awesome. Give me a holler when your up this way. Love to meet you if time allows. 😀
@@creek_camper I'll do it, bro.
