I usually don't comment on these videos...but I had to thank you for this easy 2 minute fix... I've been procrastinating on buying another speaker right now...but that rattling was killing me so I've been riding with the bass on low!!! You got the A7 back bangin' now...good lookin'
lol dude, thank you!! i was researching how to replace this speaker and came across your video. Literally took me 3 minutes from prying off the grill to putting it back on. And now it sounds perfect, no more rattle.
Bro!!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I watched your video (not even all the way to the end) and it took me less than a minute to fix. I was about to buy a replacement then pay to have it installed!!! Thanks again, saved me a couple hundred bucks Bro!
Thank you so much for your video! I have a 2011 Audi A7 and thought my left door subwoofer speaker was blown. I just took off the plastic cap and sounds perfect now. Took about 3minutes to do.
Dude I can’t thank you enough…Many blessings for this video! Protect yourself lol audio shops and audi may be looking for you! Just joking but this video saved me a lot of money because I was already pricing door subs for my a8 and I wish I knew about this hack for other cars I’ve had.
Also the enclosure on bose split ruining a sealed or ported design...once 'glued' epoxy ". solves issue with 100% fail rate in bose car on production line
The bit on mine on some songs, not all, sound hallow, as if the speaker is loose or someone is knocking on a table if that makes sense. It's much better than before removing the cap, but still a speaker replacement, or even an upgrade would be more ideal.
Dude, removing that plastic cover should NEVER be done with a metal object. The plastic is vulnerable. Car mechanics always use plastic prying tools which you easily can buy. Always open plastic with plastic. Your advice: you can use a butter knife is just not good.
I wouldn't do this "easy fix." Instead, I applied J-B Weld 50139 Plastic Bonder Body Panel Adhesive and Gap Filler Syringe - Black - 25 ml on the cracked area and the rattle is gone. There are ton of UA-cam videos showing this better option of easy fix. P.S Use a plastic tool to prevent damaging the car trim.
01 AudiS4, you are the man!!!
One of the easiest fixes I've seen for my car!!!!
Thanks!!!!!!

You saved my 1000 dollars

I just did mine & it sounds perfect to me.

great tips but don't use screw drivers like this guy, it scratches everything! lol
please use plastic tools thees panels are expensive
Shockingly bad quality. Would not happened on a D3 A8 and sounded much better too.
