You are right their relationships what makes the whole thing works. They work mainly with 2 directors for their mvs, lumpens and zanybros since the beginning Big Hit and BTS value loyalty every crew and director literally grew with them and the 2 directors almost work exclusively with BTS and BigHit
To say "Sugohaesseoyo" or "You've worked hard" which is similar to thanking someone for working so hard at the end of a work day is quite standard among Koreans and is actually one of the beautiful things about the Korean culture. I remember RM saying that one of the things they found was quite an adjustment when they would work in the US is that there is really no direct equivalent of the phrase and practice in American culture but they still say thank you to everyone they work with as best as they can. I think it's a practice that should be standard to all cultures to both encourage and reward everyone's hard work. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
omg i actually thought that’s just a normal thing people do, i guess not... in most asian countries people would be considered rude af for not saying that or atleast a “thank you! have a nice day”
Maybe the Fake Love behind the scenes since it's all not CG. I would want to see Jordan and Nick's reactions and yours if you haven't seen it. And I want to see how it was done without CG. I haven't seen it either but I've heard of it. Soo it's new for all of us and yall
When the members thank everyone for working it's more of a cultural thing in South Korea. When someone is done working for the day everyone says "You've worked hard." Of course, there are people who don't say it on a daily basis but I've always seen BTS thanking everyone they work with. I say this to my co-teachers, coworkers, and security guards at the end of each day (if I see them). **By the way I work in Seoul, South Korea. I would also like to request you watch the Fake Love MV and the Behind the Scenes both are beautiful. MV: ua-cam.com/video/7C2z4GqqS5E/v-deo.html Behind: ua-cam.com/video/JsoMuaewpZs/v-deo.html
im still amazed to this day at how many references they got into this video and all of the thought behind it. it mustve taken them SO LONG to come with the idea and the storyline and everything and what they wanted to put in there. nothing in that music video was random. side note but i still cant watch that behind the scenes without getting a bittersweet feeling, like it looks like they're having fun and all that but especially when i see the clip where Jimin is bending over in exhaustion after dancing. i just cant help but feel a little bit sad when remembering what Jimin had to go through at that time.
I rly love their interactions with the staff it is really cute I see them talking to the staff in their videos and thanking them and sometimes I see them giving the staff stuff like food it’s part of the reason why I love them bc they treat everyone with so much respect and gratitude
During the group's Blood Sweat & Tears era, Jimin struggled with his weight and followed a very strict diet that saw him lose 15lbs and leave him very ill. He revealed in the interview that he took it to such extremes, he would often pass out during dance rehearsals.
There is a longer version. BTS MVs longer behind the scenes can be seen on their Memories DVDs which are publish every year. I'm not sure if someone uploaded it here cause it's paid content. You will find it in BTS Memories 2016.
3:01 That is part of reality when they debuted, when they debuted some of the members only slept 4 hours to be able to practice, I think that now the practice hours are not exaggerated as before but they still have very exhausting schedules I guess they have the interviews, run BTS, tour, composing songs or recording songs They are very dedicated to everything they do and have a friendly relationship with each other and with everyone who works with them as staff, manager, cameramen, etc., they also have a very nice friendship with their CEO even once at a fan meeting Jimin was saying "nona" to a staff member (nona literally means older sister)
I don't know if thanking the crew is a cultural thing, but I know BTS members do it a lot, they even help clean up after their shows sometimes. And I think it's this mutual respect between the members and the staff that create these master pieces.
Im super excited to see more of your reactions to BTS music videos and behind the scenes!! I think you three will love Spring Day, Not Today, and Singularity!! Also the amount of time it must have taken to recreate those paintings and sculptures in the set! 💜💜😊😊
BTS always say thank you to the people working with them. It's just what they do, they've even been known for going around with bin bags collecting up rubbish on sets and at venues
12:02 I absolutely agree with this sentiment. I will not name names or anything of the sort but there is absolutely evidence of that even just within the idol industry in South Korea.
The statements of "you worked hard" appear to be cultural. But I've seen many posts or interview by staff members who go out of their way to express their appreciation for how humble and appreciative bts are towards their staff. So it seems to me that they must be a lot more respectful than other celebrities. In fact, I recall a photographer who said that they had a really long photoshoot and it really struck him when the boys thanked them for working tirelessly without losing their smile. It was something that staff usually say to the models. I'm really proud of the lovely people that BTS are. Always warms my heart that they go above the call of duty to make sure their staff feels respected and valued.
It's actually a play on words, as most BTS lyrics are. The word is "more more more" in Hangul which emphasizes the desire to fall into temptation while seeking more constantly. However, it also sound like "money money money" in English which emphasizes how we fall into temptation in the quest for money. So, while seeking out "more" and "money" we are easily pulled into temptation.
The "museum" is a set. I don't think it is official but I think it it based on the "Musée royal des beaux arts" in Brussels, Belgium, as it looks really similar (entrance hall). Multiple of the paintings shown in the MV, like "The fall of the rebel angels" and "Landscape with the fall of Icarus" by Bruegel are on exhibition in this museum as well.
It all starts with CEO Bang PD who not only has excellent songwriting and production credentials but also the good sense to give BTS a larger degree of creative freedom than they would have had at any other company. Even though BH was struggling financially, RM and Suga had their own individual production studios very early on and J-Hope shortly followed them. But in addition Bang PD also chose to earn a degree in Aesthetics. Artistic quality seems to be extremely important to him.
I think it’s an Asian thing to thank people for their hard work. That’s actually how the Jhope and Suga song Otsukare came about. Otsukare is Japanese for thank you for your hard work. When in Japan, they would say it often as a matter of course. Jhope liked it so much, he turned it into a song.
9:23 hi Dylan this is what I like about UA-cam reactions : you tell the layman what we are seeing is constructed and thought ahead. Jimin said he was depressed in 2020 and Jin explained they spent two years for the training of the 2020 live tour. Which was supposed to be his last year before enlisting But his country changed the law about it.
The first time I heard the song I also thought they were saying "money" but they're saying "많이" which is sounds like "money" but means "many" or "a lot" so the line 원해 많이 (wonhae manhi) can translate to: "I want you a lot" or "I want it more" I've seen both translations
it is definitely a cultural thing to thank everyone on set after a work day. It has a lot to do with the crew being in their field of work longer than BTS and therefore being ranked higher, so BTS kinda HAS to thank them and bow. (But nowadays they wouldn't have to as they are basically the top artist of the country, but as they're humble kings they still do it). It's a hierarchy thing. The korean language also has different levels of honorifics, because hierarchy and respecting those above you (be it age or in profession) is very important.
Would definitely recommend watching Fake Love Behind the Scenes, watch the MV first and then behind the scenes! It's such a great MV and they didn't really use CG. MAKE SURE IT"S THE EXTENDED VERSION OF FAKE LOVE MV
I think its cultural in the sense that korea is big about respect and also them not wanting to come of as rude cus ppl talk plus I think they're genuinely nice.
I'd really love to see you all react to fake love and the behind the scenes of it (if you want to do another vid you can show them the fake love extended ver. too) fake love is such a beautifully crafted and shot mv with such a story it would be so cool to see what you all thought
10:02 jk has been known for helping the crew clean up. All I know is they spend 2 hours for make up and hair 13 hours training for a dance routine Jin can top up to 19 hours Jimin and Jk loves practicing too. Rm has lots of business to conduct Suga writes songs and produced late at night
I really suggest watching the “Blood sweat and tears what does it all mean “ video they point out all the symbolism we miss in the mv and its also not connected with the storyline
Hi ARMY, new viewer and subscriber here. I really appreciate this concept of reactions you have here. It’s very insightful and I always love the knowledge being shared from people who are in specific field related to what BTS does. Please keep more coming. 💜💜💜💜
10:31 that little clip is the time when jimin went on a very strict diet eating only once in 10 days or once a day I don't remember but he ate very little :(
Really enjoyed this reaction. Thoughtful comments. Please check out behind the scenes for Save Me, Fake Love, and Mic Drop after checking out music videos. Thanks.💜🤗
i forget where i saw it, but the two story set was used in a movie at some point. there was a reactor i watched way back when that had recognized the set and found the movie. but i can't remember which reactor or what movie.
what i found about it: RM and Jung Kook’s room is under SUGA and Jimin’s. And the balcony V is sitting on is behind SUGA and Jimin’s room. Note that there is a sign with “CHATROOM 2,3 ↑″ between the two rooms. If you add it to the style of the upper room it seems to be a reference to the movie Chatroom.
Nice reaction. Ty. First time seeing these behind the scenes. =0) Yeah, BTS uses very little CGI in many of their videos. Their team is amazing. I suggest Lights MV it has some cool scenes. ON Kinetic manifesto film, and Save Me. -baby ARMY NY USA 💜
Just to let u know unlike here where camara operators and just the general staff arent acknowledged but over there they are very much so actually and i believe the director of this is lumpin( lupin) studio they do alot of btss stuff
4:23 ok happy new year Ok first laugh I’m just out of surgery so no laughter please it hurts 😆😂 Well you don’t break an ankle for BTS Because you need this ankle to live perform But when you are BTS you are trained to amazing things Have seen Jimin jumped he is flying and V turned himself a 360 rotation ? Hey guys, love these reactions! Definitely Fake Love behind the scenes, also Mic Drop is a good one 'cos the cars on fire and explosion are real (there are no Eng subs on Mic Drop one but lots of camera/equip shots). It more incredible that all the sets, paintings and statues have a specific reason for being there. They all tell a story tying in with BTS Universe.

Everyone in South Korea thanks any and all workers.
"Video editors react" is my fav segment. Please do more reactions like this. You can watch Fake Love, Mic Drop, Save me and others.
"I wish it was longer"
that's it! this is it!! the start of BTS in your life!! Congrats bro!
Im super excited to see more of your reactions to BTS music videos and behind the scenes!! I think you three will love Spring Day, Not Today, and Singularity!! Also the amount of time it must have taken to recreate those paintings and sculptures in the set! 💜💜😊😊
Thanking people after their day work is a culture thing and I think is an awesome thing, because they recognize the hard work. I think is beautiful
Fake Love and Save Me behind the scenes for sure. And Fire!!
They usually make the MVs in 2-3 days...but not much sleep for the guys though.
They give it all...
They always appreciate their staff's hard work and also mention about their hard work on award shows.
I'm early !!
Stay safe, positive and healthy
Love and support from the Philippines ^_^
BTS always say thank you to the people working with them. It's just what they do, they've even been known for going around with bin bags collecting up rubbish on sets and at venues
12:02 I absolutely agree with this sentiment. I will not name names or anything of the sort but there is absolutely evidence of that even just within the idol industry in South Korea.
Finalllllyyyyyyy reaction with the video directors..... this is what im waiting for 😃

Yes, yes, yes...everything you 3 said💜💜💜 Giving us this shooting sketchers it’s awesome! I vote for more/all of them
I thoroughly love watching you guys and what you can teach us from your knowledge and experience.
There is literally a "behind the scenes" for every MV
Lumpens is the company that directs all (or the vast majority at least) of BTS's mvs. You can find some interviews, but they are rare.
I agree, I wish they were longer too 😆 I love the behind the scenes as much as I love the videos.
I´ll love to have a chat with their mv producers too...
The "museum" is a set. I don't think it is official but I think it it based on the "Musée royal des beaux arts" in Brussels, Belgium, as it looks really similar (entrance hall). Jimin is the most attractive and versatile artist in this generation
More of these content and behind-the-scenes breakdown please!
(I almost wrote more BTS BTS content lol so I had to spell out one)

you should show them the shadow music video!!!! the camera angles go crazy in that one as well as the effects!!
Jimin's intro of this song is just superb.

10:02 jk has been known for helping the crew clean up.
All I know is they spend 2 hours for make up and hair
13 hours training for a dance routine
Jin can top up to 19 hours
Jimin and Jk loves practicing too.
Rm has lots of business to conduct
Suga writes songs and produced late at night
The "ohhh the BTS OF BTS" got meeee gahahhahahhaLt
I really suggest watching the “Blood sweat and tears what does it all mean “ video they point out all the symbolism we miss in the mv and its also not connected with the storyline
Watch "Bookish Theories Explanation" video for meaning & understanding of "BST" 💜

BTS reacts to their own videos and they sometimes discuss how the scenes were shot in details
I love this series
There is this one video showing the people who recorded the instrumentals of BTS's "ON". I think you need to check it out 😊
Hi, have a good day/night everyone hope your all doing fine. 💜
Watching in between online classes 😈
They tend to do things 'In House' so it's their own team.
Hey. That’s me 😊🚨
Mic Drop behind the scenes and Save Me behind the scenes.
10:31 that little clip is the time when jimin went on a very strict diet eating only once in 10 days or once a day I don't remember but he ate very little :(

Fake love next please! Thanks for this. Wow
actually early
Not a video editor, but I think video editors would enjoy Fake Love and On (the actual mv) by BTS 🤗
They should totally react to Save Me and the behind!
Just to let u know unlike here where camara operators and just the general staff arent acknowledged but over there they are very much so actually and i believe the director of this is lumpin( lupin) studio they do alot of btss stuff
4:23 ok happy new year
Ok first laugh
I’m just out of surgery so no laughter please it hurts 😆😂
Well you don’t break an ankle for BTS
Because you need this ankle to live perform
But when you are BTS you are trained to amazing things
Have seen Jimin jumped he is flying and V turned himself a 360 rotation ? It is mesmerizing
You have to react FAKE LOVE BEHIND THE SCENE this is insane
Break an ankle for BTS...tii jii jii 😁Silly and crazy. 😃💜💜💜
Thank you for your reaction. You guys should check out [EPISODE] BTS (방탄소년단) 'Save Me' MV Shooting and [EPISODE] BTS (방탄소년단) 'ON' Kinetic Manifesto Film Shooting Sketch.
Let them react to Fake Love behind the scenes😌
@11:50 EXACTLY 👏👏👏
You should show them some Bangtan Bombs and Run segments.
Oh man, can you get them to react to BTS Spine Breaker mv and the behind the scenes making of it, and maybe explanation video? ;) They might be mind blown with RM/Hobi director, Jin choreo, JK camera and what they can do in a hotel xD not to mention the great message behind the song.
1:07 what's the title of the song?
You should watch Fake Love shooting it's TOP.
You three should check out all the videos and then behind the scene reactions. Is that too much???? Ha ha
Fake love MV + Behind the scenes
They have a lot of behind the scene's footage.
y’all should react to the interlude shadow mv
You let them react fake love and fire behind the scenes
Hey guys, love these reactions! Definitely Fake Love behind the scenes, also Mic Drop is a good one 'cos the cars on fire and explosion are real (there are no Eng subs on Mic Drop one but lots of camera/equip shots). Obvs would need to do MV's first followed by "behind the scenes", it wouldn't be too long, most reaction vids I watch are 25-35+ mins. Think it would also be fresher in your mind if you see them one after the other too! Borahae.
Have you guys reacted to ON official MV? They had real alpaca on the scene😅💜
