Fun fact: Jin confessed to the members that his part when they record his face while close his eyes was the tough one. He repeated 8 times as Jungkook dissatisfied with the emotion and looks of Jin. Jungkook said “it was a crucial part, something was lacking @ missing on it”
you guys are totally getting it! the whole idea of this album was to show BTS in their natural state--not worldwide superstars, not a boy band, just seven ordinary friends dealing with their problems during this difficult time. a lot of this was filmed by JK when they were just chilling and messing around with each other. this album was produced and created from start to finish by the members themselves, and tbh it really shows. they're all so talented and their warmth and emotions really shine through. for me at least, this song came at the PERFECT time. i was in a really low place, and this was exactly the message i needed to hear, and i think that's what they were going for. thanks for the great reaction, and keep up the great work!
@Nike Styx You hit the nail right smack in the head ! That’s exactly what this MV is all about ....How they’re miss performing infront of all Army’s and will do it as soon as the pandemic ends!
So proud of Jungkook and the talent he has. He always aims for improvement. Congrats to Director Jungkook... ++++++......... His vocals are always amazing.
My first time to hear a reactor giving appreciation and credits to the cameramen, colorist, and others who were working so hard as well, calling them world class. That was nice. 👍
"I'm straight not blind" I think that is my favorite thing I have heard anyone say about their visuals lol :) like it's just facts, also Jungkook did so amazing with this video and it's so comforting and fits the vibes of the song and I'm so happy so many people can genuinely enjoy it
This album it’s just the most sincere side of BTS, all of them were part of the producing and songwriting of all of the songs, except for dynamite ofc.
If you look at the article that was published. Jungkook is incharge of 4 roles. MV DIRECTOR / Project manager of the MV which means he also did filming and editing with the production team. He was also production coordination. Background vocals on 4 songs . And has credit has songwriter and composer on 2 song
Part of when to use Korean or English is which language gives the best auditory experience for that thought. Having 2 languages to choose from lets you make more creative rhythms and rhymes. I really enjoy professional analysis of BTS. I always learn so much and appreciate them even more. Thanks for this!
They were all involved in the making of this album more so than they ever have before. Big Hit have released videos on their YT channel of their meetings where they are coming up with the concept of the album, of what songs they want on the album and ideas for the MV. They are also each credited with either writing, producing or both every song on this album except for Dynamite. And yes, JK directed the MV and V took on the role of Visual Director and shot the promotional concept images. This album is truly a personal album for them and it’s just what the world needs right now 💜
2020 been a shit year for me... my dad passed away in july... my dad in law passed away in august... my grand ma passed away this month... only BTS can get me through the day... 😞💜
I'm so sorry to hear that. I know exactly how you feel, I lost the same exact people as you did in 2016, all 3 within 3 months. I hope things get better for you 💜
Sorry to hear that, I will be praying for you and your family. I am very happy that the boys are able to help you somehow cope up and I hope you'll be better. God bless you!
Im in love with this song and MV, the song is just so catchy and it kinda has the R&B feel to it. The MV is just so sweet and innocent looking, it is just the lads going on about their normal lives and just doing what they love, U also love just how laid back the MV is. This song is a song that we all needed to hear especially after the year we have had and still having, the message os so thoughtful and inspiring that no matter what happens ‘Life Goes On’ as normals as possible and you just have to keep being you also the song has also reminded me to ‘Just Remember’ that ‘Life Goes On’ and we just have to keep doing what we do and keep being happy, also the beat of the song has a calming effect that can help anyone to relax. I just love how thoughtful the BTS lads are, always thinking of us ARMYs and making sure we are always smiling and feeling happy. (Thankyou BTS)
A beautiful song for hope, strength, togetherness in these stressed days in isolation💜.V, looks at the stadium where they had their last concert💜.BTS miss being on stage😥director JK did a great job filming this video😎..
OMG! I love how he just straight on fast forwarded the whole thing while he was telling them about the members LOL! That's literally every ARMY right there! Loved you guys' reaction! edit: The last shot was actually in a stadium where they had their online concerts for MOTS:7 in Sep/Oct I think. THey filled the back side with ARMY Bombs, that's so beautiful!!
What Jordan mentioned at around 8:23 really nails it. That's how BTS have been living (or were anyway, before Covid-19): away from their families, touring just with the members and crew, working, playing, and resting basically just with one another. And they build very good relationships among themselves. They only have themselves to rely on. That's on of the reasons why they are who they are right now. That experience. Thanks for appreciating their work.
6:01 good pick The camera is low budget because director Jungkook wanted to match the mood. The pandemic mood and no car because lockdown. The camera is different at the end You should watch the Newark GCF it has a 80’s vibe
"YOU'RE STRAIGHT BUT NOT BLIND" OMG this made me laugh for a good minute, thank You for great reactions, can't wait for all three of You to analyze more of BTS videos!
He mainly shot this with his own camera and his cell phone camera AND he did the editing himself THEN ask one of the directors if it’s “ OK “ ! The director didn’t change a thing !That’s how good he is. The story is about them missing performing in front of the Army’s because of the pandemic. It tells that there’s hope to one day be with the Army’s again and perform for us once again!
I am same age with the 2nd older member of BTS, my baby Yoongi. BUT everytime Im watching their MV, interviews, tv performances, VLive, videos, etc.. It feels like I AM A SUPER PROUD PARENT of these 7 ADORABLE, TALENTED, KIND-HEARTED, ANGELS, GOOFY, CRACKHEADS, GENIUS YOUNG MEN BTS!! 😊😊😊 WE LOVED THEM SO MUCH😊😍
If you read BTS press release in Weverse and their Global press release it was explained everything and yes is designed to look like a home made video because of the quarantine and the time we are living in. They wrote and directed to all of this song
Hey guys, heard JK is using a Red Komo (I don't know about cameras myself so wouldn't know model or specs). It was shot in their apartment, they still all live together despite having bought their own apartments a couple of years back. How good was it of BigHit to give JK this opportunity, so pleased for him.
They released Dynamite alone earlier this year to cheer people up and decided to use it on Be as the last track to kind of mirror their concerts ending with fireworks shows, etc. The rest of the tracks are very reflective due to quarantine and missing their fans. A lot of them are sung directly to their Army.
Wow. Really enjoyed the three of you together. I thought the commentary was insightful and perceptive. Would love to see more of the 3 of you (and BTS). 💜
Yes, they’ve very talented, lovely producers, editors etc. but the main team who is close with BTS, Pdogg, Bang PD-nim got better at their job, reaching to a world-class level cause of their talent, hardwork, intelligence. I know what you’re talking about and the earlier MVs (i need you, Run etc.) were also really really good in my opinion. I luv those songs, clips so much.
The other that they did with this music video is that they are reflecting the MV to how 2020 has been. It’s like a comfort to how this song has been.when they were looking at the TV, it was a mirror to them.
Thank you very much for this video reaction and reaction on gcf tokyo! It was so interesting to watch! I'm not involved anywhere near filming, shooting, etc., but your comments on editing were really interesting for me - they point out things that i couldn't notice. We know how important video editing and well especially gcf tokyo are for jungkook - i think, you can tell this just by all of the effort he put on this, none of it was planned, it really was about the story, and I'm so glad you pointed out how you could tell that he was happy at the moment of filming his trip with jimin (that's why I actually doubt that gcf tokyo is possible to recreate, more of a meaning, then technical part) I'm also happy for jungkook getting chance to direct mv - he expressed that wish like in 2014 even, i guess. So it was interesting for me to look at these videos from proffesional point of view. I'll be looking for your new videos! c: On a more personal note. I don't think I could express in words how important bts are for me. I watched them grow since 2014, I grow with them, as we are the same generation, I learned things like self-love, self-care, respect and many more with their support. There were times so low that the only thing keeping me from ending everything was bangtan, their songs. You say that you like spring day and I can't begin to describe how much this song means for me. Those feelings it has - pain and joy, despair and hope at the same time. It's healing song, as life goes on is too. I just... my grandpa died in jule, and after 44 days my dad died too. Pain is tearing me apart, and though this grief will never fade away, i know there's place where i can heal, they are mine inner soul home, and I'm so lucky to find them 💜
You were 100% correct on the teamwork aspect that makes BTS so successful. RM likes to say teamwork makes the dream work. They love each other like family which is not common. Most boy bands, like your friend said, let egos get in the way or they have different goals.
Having the album just confirms what this mv sets up, most of it feels highquality but still homemade, the making book is like a little notebook with lyric notes and polaroid pictures of behind shots etc everything about this comeback feels like 7 friends with a big budget coming together to make some great things
I’m not sure if someone has said this yet, but the black-and-white stage scene at the end was filmed after their ON:E live stream performance. The lights in the back were like the army bombs during the concert. So they would already have high-tech cameras, Make-up, mics, etc. ready.
Absolutely love Jordan and Nick lmao Jordan had me cracking up and I really like Nicks vibe and openness. We need more of them! Gonna check out Light up media.
They posted a video eating around a table talking about how to do this MV. Everyone gave ideas, a good brainstorming. They decided to shot themselves doing things inside home and experiencing the pandemic times. They also decided JungKook was the person in charge of the project. Amazing.
Istg the way you pause to explain things to them and just your over all reaction is so cute and just shows how passionate we army are about our boys 😂💜💜💜 keep it up!!
Lumpens is the name of their exclusive creative video production house for all their other music videos, with this one, they gave full creative control to JK💜
"This will probably have an uplifting ending." Me: Literally sobbed watching the music video because they were performing in an empty stadium full of ARMY bombs.
Everytime I watch your reaction videos I appreciate BigHit staffs more especially those behind the camera who make BTS mvs look amazing. Through you and your friends you give me a glance at producers and editors pov and I love it. thank you guys so much
"You're straight not blind" that line should be told to every single man on this planet! You're showing a great example of what masculinity should really be like.
Wow I love these 3 reacting, I learn a lot, and enjoy their enjoyment. Sorry about the hurricane, glad you are ok. I hope to see all of you on more reactions!
Dylan saying he's gonna give them a quick rundown on who raps and who sings, and then proceeding to go into an hour long rant where joon learning english from friends comes up, is such a MOOD
I'm pretty sure Joon said in the live that they started brainstorming for this in March, this time around BTS had a hand in *everything* . From directing to storyboarding to packaging.
Jimin has the best looking eyes. The end of this video was filmed about an hour after their last online concert BangBang Con. That is why Jimin has heavy eye makeup since it was filmed after he did Filter and we know HOW that was lol
The pivot joke tho 😂 This is an awesome reaction and I would love to see more like this in the future! I'm a photographer and plan on getting a degree in videography so I loved being able to hear everyone's thoughts on the video and compare them to mine while gaining more knowledge at the same time.
