Thanks Pastor Skip for another great teaching - these 2 chapters highlight once again that with God on your side you cannot fail. Tozer gave an interesting way to think about God and the universe. He said imagine the universe to be a bucket and the bucket is submerged at the bottom of the ocean. God represents the ocean. He fills the bucket like He fills the universe with His presence. But as the ocean also surrounds the bucket in all directions so God also contains the universe. God is not contained - He contains. He is omnipresent throughout His universe. So where you stand you can say, "God is here." And even if you're on another planet 10 billion light-years away, you can say, "God is here." God is aware of what every atom is doing throughout the entire universe - He is omnipresent. This staggers the mind- but again God is God. All glory to God!
I have been fighting depression (aka Satan) lately on the fact that I don't have a family....I have a son, who I raised on my own, and who has practically disowned me as I grew in my Christian faith
This sermon soothed my soul.... maybe my family is meant to come to me through my son and his family... and I need to kindly and patiently find ways to support him and his family to heal from the consequences of the sin of having a child out of wedlock and raising him without Christ (the biggest regrets of my life, feminism is a satanic lie)

I too became alienated from my daughter when she became involved in witchcraft but we are talking to one another now after several years of silence. Hang in there!

So Jesus was related to David through Nathan, what does the virgin birth have to do with the bood line to David ? The Virgin birth makes me think that Jesus could have Gods DNA.
