Daniel's first segment got me hooked when I first watched this vid back in 2009, so smooth. Now I've been married 8 years and my wife has never seen me really shuffle even though we got together back in 2011 when shuffling blew up in the US. Wonder if I still could, but I feel like I would build up enough static on my carpet to trip a breaker xD
I wonder if this stays. Unlike Jumpstyle, this style seems really harder to practice and I hope it stays. Looks way cooler too.

It's not dead it just went back underground and is not popular like it was in the 2000s. I discovered melbourne shuffle like 4 years ago and the videos from all those legends motivated me so hard that I started myself. I wish I had a real crew tho ^^ If you want it, it will take you there for real

yeh i entirely agree, shuffling began as fun, something individual but still created a community, now everyone judges each other and criticises.

I never used to like any kind of techno music until hardstyle. I never used to like to dance until I saw the Melbourne Shuffle. I find this shit inspirational. Intense and so much attitude.
Kebabi is still one of the best shufflers around!

The one in the purple(?) hoody and black pants is my absolute fave. The first one to dance.
I have alot of friends from Europe and Holland etc and most of them that came to Melbourne said the rave and dance scene here kicks ass compared to Europe. Im not denying that Europe is the birthplace of rave/trance etc and they have all the best DJ's and artists but there is no doubt Melb is one of the best, you can't deny that....

Doing the running man over and over isn't shuffling. That's just doing the running man. Shuffling is when you combine it when spins and many more things. :)
That's a silly question. It depends because everyone is different and it varies on how much effort you put into practice.

@42RANGA They're called Phat Pants, and yes, that's the whole purpose, to make it look like your gliding, and i thinkg they're originally made in austria, which the whole dance came from.

@yunan96 It says 'PHD' and stands for Pure Hard Dance. They used to hold raves and the PHD shirts and hoodies you see are their merchandise. If you search PHD Hoodie on eBay and click on the seller Heatwave, you can see the range of PHD items avaliable.

@MutsuKazuma The pants are derived from hamaka's which were used to mask leg movement. Depending on what he means with "gliding effect" it can be caused by the pants. Skill level is still more important though but all the small things help create a better illusion

This is still the best shuffle video it have a great rage of style. Dude in the begining...sic and the one during 666 perfect bounce for the beat. And your last one on the vid very fluid extentions and very impressive control in a small space you made it look huge in a 4x4ft.
